In light of the ongoing global economic crisis, it is crucial for everyone to prioritize investing in diverse sources of income that are not reliant on the government. This includes exploring opportunities in stocks, gold, silver, and digital currencies. Despite the challenging economic situation, it remains a favorable time to consider these investments.

The pathway to substantial returns doesn't solely rely on stocks with significant movements. Instead, it revolves around effectively managing risk relative to reward. By appropriately sizing your positions and capitalizing on your advantage repeatedly, you can progressively work towards achieving your financial goals. This principle applies across various investment approaches, whether it be long-term investing or day trading.

Due to my demanding job, I lack the time to thoroughly assess my investments and analyze individual stocks. Consequently, for the past seven years, I have enlisted the services of a fiduciary who actively manages my portfolio to adapt to the current market conditions. This strategy has allowed me to navigate the financial landscape successfully, making informed decisions on when to buy and sell. Perhaps you should consider a similar approach.

I went in December and situation was slightly better but most people around were black, meaning not many italians around and italian born population shrinking. Seriously, being white I felt like a foreigner in there as locals looked quite different from me and italian population is aging. Also, crime significantly increase in my hometown and we are talking about a once very peaceful town of 40,000 inhabitants. If this the way Italy is headed, I don’t care about GDP growth forecast and low inflation of Italy, I am better off elsewhere in the world.

Its sometime not out of carelessness; other take advantage of democracy's weakness. If you go back to interview some of the protesters that was against the coal usage~ you might get the result of them being somewhat neutral or indifferent to the nuclear plant. aka it might be highjacked and this was years at the working ~ the result isn't just making Germany dependent on Russia for energy but also disarm its ability to create NUs whereas S.Korea-etc can probably do so within 6-15 months since they kept theirs running. Divide and Rule is an effective tactic that is still being used today ~ e.g Pushing America to be far right/left so it itself can't unite (in most situation - will be too busy fighting each other than concentrating on the task in hand)

There are some who are there and are truly against having nuclear plants after a nuclear disaster (even if its in another country) after seeing the report on the news. What I was trying to say is there are divisions in all democractic nations; for better or for worse ~ many took advatnage of the divide. e.g Media will try to swing far left or far right to gain more views (aka their revenue) In a worse case will be if a rivalry nation try to expand the division to weaken the targeted nation; cause it to be divided so the nation as a whole can't work together (or slow their reaction time) - even if it doesn't lead to an all out civil war. aka the classic divide and rule tactic by the past USSR and other empire states centuries ago.

It’s also hard to get a jop by contrast immigrants to the US can easily find work and do well in comparison to Europe , due to many issues including language barriers and tribalism and discrimination, Europen countries are ethnic states ( tribal ) not multiracial nations like the US we’re diversity is normal , as the US president famously noted that you can’t be French if you are not of French origin you can’t be a Turk if your not Turkish but you can be American regardless of your origin , he means that you would be accepted as an American by contrast if you get French citizenship they will never accept you as French , in Turkey if you speak Turkish they will accept you because Turkey has always been multicultural but due to the influence of Attatrk nationalism you must be born as a Turkish speaker to be accepted .

I'd go further: When one speaks of reliance on exports it really means: The people in that country are not able to spend the money. Why not? Because they are underpaid. So where does all the money go (positive trade balance means that lots of money is coming in)? Into investments. Who owns these investments? The few, the capitalists. So not only were the boomers misaligned in their values (make money, not children) but then they were even betrayed for a good part of what they brought in! Same is true for so many countries in the western world. Squash the workers, make them work, and don't pay what they actually make. That way they won't have time nor money to raise a family, but the system doesn't care. In fact neoliberalism made it much worse.

Honestly the tackling on issue of people not getting kids is one of the biggest issues almost all countries around the world is facing and I keep constantly hearing the population getting old, but really no solutions like advocating more to schools having kids more involved with opposite sex, have more ads to benefits of making families and overall supporting more families that get children. Complaining of not getting kids in a world where system really doesn't anymore support this is a problem in the system. I know workforce is only thought, but if nations really think that immigration is a good fix, it isn't. It's already been proven with the high rise in nationalistic rights in politics and more unrest in nations societies as cultures will keep clashing in increasing amounts. Yeah good that you get your workers and consumers, but same time it will erode your nation if you invest too heavily as if immigration is the fix.

I don't think that not getting kids is currently a huge issue. The world population is still growing. Immigration is for sure one of the solutions. Another is technology. Mankind has experienced a long long period of expansion and birth rate may shift the power and populations size, but in a gradual way. Once a too low birth rate should become a real problem growing up kids can be declared to be the job of the country and not any more that of an individual family costing quite some money.

@@NicolasHaufe Seeing it globally (worldwide) low birthrates are no problem, because the worldwide population is still growing (at least for this century). Some people rather see the opposite, that the growing global population is a huge problem because it depletes the global ressources more fast and leaves less and less room for other creatures. Seeing into certain countries who are at the forefront of low birthrate in combination with permanantly more elderly population some people may see a problem in the fact that they cannot keep their current standard (usually these countries enjoy much higher wealth share than what its population represents as a share globally), but as technology progresses and the time progressing makes the details on the problems more clear I am sure solutions are/will be created. The current situation in Germany is that there was an increase in population by immigration of about 5 Mio (3 major reasons: 1) Ukraine refugees - supported by politics and population 2) Syria, Afghanistan and global refugees - initially supported, now it becomes more and more rejected, but politicians find no way to stop it 3) invited immigration from other european countries to fill job demands) causing stress to everybody to find houses/rental flats and there is no reasonable solution to this, because recent global development has caused a huge increase in cost. For me this increase in German population was unexpected and therefore I think the situation is more complex and only when we see the birthrate is so low that global population will decrease for example below 5 billion I would agree that it is a real problem to be addressed.

@@zeez.5392 Let's break this down for you. - No ethnic Germans are Muslims. - It is highly uncommon for non-Muslims to wear headscarves. Hence, this is a fair assumption that she's not German. - Ergo, she is not German. Secondly, 'what is wrong with that?'. The list is endless, but I'll give you one crucial point. One cannot expect a country to undergo a major demographic transformation and expect the said country to maintain a similar or identical culture within it. Do you think this is an issue? All of our leading examples say so. Paris, London, Amsterdam.... These places are unsafe and rampant with crime. This has correlated with the large influx of migrants. Germany will no longer be 'German' if these trends continue. It'll be a Middle-Eastern conclave living on German territory, mixed with actual Germans. As evidenced above, this leads to disastrous consequences.
@jansoltes971
@jansoltes971 18 күн бұрын
You seem to be that kind of person people call a "smartass". Here's why: 1. That original comment of mine was a YT COMMENT - not an ethnographic study! And yes, I know where Muslims live in the world and who else lives in the Middle East. I also speak Persian and I'm interested in that region. 2. Of course I'm not 100% sure, but the majority of Muslims in Germany are of Middle-Eastern origin (Turks, Arabic speaking Syrians and Iraqis, and Kurds). So it's quite sensible to assume that the woman is from the Middle East. There are considerably fewer Pakistani or Indian Muslims in Germany, not to mention Indonesians. She's not a Black (Subsaharan) Muslim either because of her skin colour. She could be from the Balkans but I think Bosnian or Albanian Muslim women dress differently. Etc. 3. Finally, as for your first comment "what's wrong about that?" or so - how do you know I think there's something wrong about it? I just stated the obvious: Muslims in Germany have higher birth rates than ethnic Germans (plus ever increasing migration), therefore that picture/footage was "telling", meaning in the long run Germany as we know it now might stop existing. Or do you think Middle-Easterns have the same mentality and culture as Central Europeans or Germans specifically? No, they don't. So in case they prevail one day and will be the decisive force in society, such society will have their characteristics (religion, legal system, education, sports, work environment, raising and schooling kids, etc, etc). Is it good or bad? I don't know. The world is changing all the time - is that good or bad? @@zeez.5392

As a German, I can attest that this situation is far more complicated than it appears. One of the primary issues we face is the misallocation of funds. We have an overly generous welfare system, including unemployment benefits and citizen's income, which has been exploited since the large influx of refugees in 2015. While the principle of supporting those in need is sound, too many people unfortunately abuse this system. Criticizing the allocation of funds towards illegal immigrants, who receive substantial monthly payments, often results in being labeled a Nazi. This label stifles meaningful debate, as the government dismisses any critical views as right-wing extremism. This has led to a widespread feeling of being ignored and stigmatized for raising legitimate concerns. An example of this misallocation is the annual donation of 350 million euros for green bike paths in Peru, which has become a running joke among Germans about our excessive generosity. This misallocation of funds reduces the incentive for newcomers to seek employment and contribute to the economy, exacerbating the skilled labor shortage. While we do need immigrants to bolster our workforce, they should not come solely to receive benefits without contributing. Germany, as an industrial nation, relies heavily on affordable energy to maintain economic stability. However, green policies have led us to hastily adopt climate-neutral energy solutions, shutting down safe nuclear power plants based on questionable circumstances (Habeck Akten). Despite limited solar and wind power infrastructure, we attempt to sustain our heavy industry. Consequently, we are now paying a fortune for the dirtiest electricity (brown coal), importing it at high costs from neighboring countries. These issues are not just future problems of the 2030s but are already manifesting and will likely escalate sooner than anticipated. I could go on further and further, talking about current problems the whole world seems to see, but not we germans...

Let’s be fair, Angela Merkel’s brain-dead policies are far more to blame for Germany’s troubles than Schroeder’s - not that I absolve him of part of the blame. I was in Germany when Mutti announced the plan to shut down nuclear energy. And not because of Fukushima, but because it gave her party a temporary edg over the Greens. As a reporter I also followed the “drama” of reaching NATO’s 2% defense budget, which DefSec Gates first brought up in 2010. Mutti blew him away saying Germany would need 20 years to grow its defense budget from 1.19% to the required 2%! There are many other examples of her amazing boneheadedness, including codling up to despots like Putin, Erdogan and Vucic. In fact, if Merkel had been an active KGB agent, she could not have inflicted greater harm on Germany and NATO.

But it doesn't really matter that much in the long run, nuclear is not making a comeback, it's 4 times more expensive than wind and solar, they just need to build renewable capacity a bit faster, to account for the rising gas prices. @@FreeWanderingThinker You are intermingling two concepts here. Traditionalism and German Angst. German Angst is a slightly neurotic worry about things that might be, and are to be considered a though-experiment - which may or may not lead to Germans worrying about irrelevant stuff. Traditionalism is "Wir haben es immer so gemacht" and shows a lack of will to innovate - a hallmark sign of conservative thinking, which is stagnation at best, and utter destructive decline at worst. Nice spin. The truth is that Germany wouldn't suffer this fate if the German government didn't obey the US orders to first break the contract for delivery and change the terms of payment from the agreed contract price to the spot price on the commodity exchanges which immediately increased the price and cost for the businesses. Then the pipeline was blown up. German products may have been a bit more expensive, but people were prepared to pay for the quality. Now 2 out of 3 German companies will go out of business. The idiot that Mr Habeck is, when asked if he is not concerned about German businesses going bankrupt, replied "they won't go bankrupt. They will just stop producing for a while". If I didn't hear it myself, I wouldn't believe it. Germany is "shot"/suffocating because as Mr Orban said "it shot itself in the lungs"

Where I live, many years ago when I was young, every time you watch the news on TV about China, you see people living in caves and slums. If you are a foreigner never been to China, you would have had the impression that Chinese live in caves and slums. But I've been going to China every single year for the last 20 years. I can tell you China is an EXTREMELY high tech modern clean place. And people live in houses and apartments just like everywhere else in the world. China is one of the most (if not THE MOST) automated countries of the world. EVERY SINGLE YEAR, China installs MORE robots than the rest of the ENTIRE world COMBINED. If you don't believe me, please check online on robot numbers per country. And dig deeper into the topic. And it isn't just robots. For example, China has been a cashless society for many years. So payments, etc are also digitalised and automated. (However, a few years ago the Chinese president gave the order that shops MUST accept cash because the yuan is legal tender in China. So in the last couple of years, China has reverted back to cash)

But nowadays, since shops and restaurants are forced to accept cash, cash is back in circulation. That move helps tourists A LOT. That's because in the earlier days not only that not all shops accepted cash, but even shops that did accept cash, they may not have the correct change. So as a tourist, you were forced to always have the correct change with you since their payment apps didn't work for tourists. Nowadays even their payment apps can be used by tourists.

Just to tell some things, since I am a German and probably leaving the country in a couple of years (Preparing everything, just takes a while): 1.) Official numbers are lying. It is far worse than it is being told in the media. One example of this is the raise in deficit spending. Since deficit spending is also part of the gdp, more deficit spending means more gdp, but with the economy being in a large downturn, the gdp numbers are not reliable anymore. It is not stagnation. Economy is getting replaced by state money which makes it seems like it is stagnating, while deficit spending increased a lot in recent years. Of course, this money being spent is, in the end, either taxpayers money or debt. 2.) Some things to stay about BASF or generally chemical industry in Germany: It is in the decline, and not since the energy crisis due to a number of factors, however, what is true is that the energy crisis made the already bad situation for many companies even worse. 3.) The very same can be said about taxes, insurance, and bureaucracy. What is also to say here is that no government did anything to change it, simply because more and more in the country is being dependant on government money. People have to spend more, which means again more gdp, while the real economy is in the downturn since years. We should rather call it the German bubble, which will just as explode in a few years as it had in Greece. 4.) In fact, capable people are already fleeing the country and the remaining are either preparing for leave, not as capable or simply are living for too long in the country having houses, stuff, anything like that. Salaries in some fields are way too low, Taxes are too high, healthcare is too expensive, pensions are too expensive and the return is considerably low and lower for the average German citizen. In fact, this country is really good, if you are poor and uncapable, while being capable, having a high-paid-job makes you a target. And even if you do work in IT like I do the salary is far lower than internationally. It is not about the company, but the extremely high cost are making salaries low. Not to mention, Germany overslept the IT trends all the time. And now, the difference between national and global salary is between 20% and 100% higher for global. So, no wonder skilled people leaving the country when they earn far better in switzerland, US, Australia, or so even by their respective national standards.

Brilliant analysis. I am from Germany and only can confirm this report. Germany has a dwindeling population because of a low birth rate of only 1,35 children by woman. So the reserve of well-trained labour is going down and down, well-trained people are less and less available. For a while Germany could make up for this by importing eastern European and southern European labour, but these countries also suffer from the disease of industrialezed countries, the low birth rate. Developing countries however have high birth rates, because children there are the only insurance against being poor in old age. Ichildren. Retirement benefits seem to come from the retirement insurance like current from the socket. So actually not at all. The source is different, in both cases: Inevitably also in industrialized countries retirement benefits are paid by the children of the old people, by whom else?. But the context is not so direct and so visible like in developing countries. So many people including politicians ignore the context between raising chil-dren and the ability of a country to pay retirement benefits. This is a common disease of industrialized countries, only France is more clever because making an active population-policy: Before taxes the income of the family is divided by the number of heads in the family, so that the French tax-system favors families with more than 1 child. Migrants we have a lot here. Their children have to go to school in a foreign language which is German, so their success in school is reduced. Already 39% of school-pupils have a background of migration, in addition most of them come from families of low educational level who independently of ethnic back-ground always have a hard time to cope with school. So the quality of education is going down in Germany, even though the educational system changed little in recent decades. A source of new shortage of skilled labour, on which the highly developed industry of Germany is dependant. That's the end of the "powerhouse Germany". Most migrants have no formation at all. Time for Germany to close its borders, but the ruling left wing parties are blind on this eye. Only the migrants from eastern and southern EU usually have a professional formation so can fill the gap of labour. To increase the retirement-age does not work, because employers don’t like old people even if they are still healthy and fit. Old people have the reputation of being less performant than young people and to be sick more frequently. And so bad the shortage of skilled labour is not yet that employers would hire old qualified people. So the retirement benefits are cut and cut by politicians saying “work longer”. But the old people find no jobs in spite of the so-called “shortage of skilled labor”, because as yet this shortage is not so bad that they would hire older people and influx of skilled eastern and southern Europeans as yet fills the gap in skilled labour. In addition the labour shortage is reduced by importing people from non-industrialized countries, so that during the last 30 years the work force in Germany has risen ceaselessly, as you can find on the web-site of the official office of statistics in spite of the German population going down. So a solution has been found? Most of the immigrants come from Muslim countries who are not adapted to the free and secular societies of Europe. There was no age of enlightenment in Muslim countries so that their mentality still is medevial, so they mostly they cannot integrate into the liberal and secular European societies but form a world apart. A self-imposed apartheid. Moral standards of the Christian-based ethics in Europe and Germany and of Muslims are different. In Muslim societies women have to obey their husbands and are considered to be inferior to men, while in European societies women are considered to have the same rights as men. Women enjoy much more freedom and respect in European societies than Muslim men can accept. In short, the moral norms and standards are different. Most Muslims are no terrorists in spite of the violent Medina verses in the Quran and the life of Muhammed as a warlord in the 2nd half of his life. But all religiously motivated terrorists in Europe are Muslims! So Muslims in Europe have a reputation of being terrorists even though most are not. In some professions where access to them is easy like security guard or cleaning, the high number of immigrants even makes Europeans unemployed, especially when they are older. So there hardly is Europeans in these professions. German problems are not much different than the problems of other West-European countries. All this strengthens local resistance to immigration giving rise to extreme right wing parties. Apart of that Germany in particular suffers from self-imposed high and thus expensive ecological standards, making production in Germany uncompetitive because of the high cost and increasing the already high level of bureaucracy and overregulation in Germany. This is increasingly hindering production in a production-orientated economy. One thing is wrong in this video: It was Angela Merkel and not her predecessor Schröder who decided to shut down nuclear power plants. True is that Schröder comes from a poor family and cannot resist the money from Russian Gazprom. Still the shutdown of cheap nuclear ener-gy contributes to the too high energy cost in Germany making German economy uncompetetive.. Because these problems are not resolved and no solution is in sight, Germany has all chances to change from being the power-house of European economy to becoming the sick man of Europe. Répondre

After the Fukushima incident, the decision to abolish nuclear power was finally made by the German Government, led by Merkel. Many felt that nuclear power was too dangerous. My argument was that as long as Germany was surrounded by nuclear power stations in neighbouring countries, closing them in Germany was crazy. The typical response was "yes, BUT someone has to make a start". Germany is full of "yes, BUTS " as you well know. I wish Germany well, but as explained in the video, there are indeed dark clouds ahead.

Because Germany chose Ukraine above its own economic interests. Since 2015 Germany had a chance with the Minsk accord and then Minsk accord 2.0 to end that conflict. Russia cooperated, and was under fear of more sanctions. Germany aided Ukraine in breaking those accords. And then it chose to fully sanction Russia, and now it's hooked on expensive American LNG. That is bad news for industries, who need cheap Russian gas to remain viable. It's not because of the population getting older or because Germany lacks innovation. Germany has immigration and innovation was not needed since Russian gas made Germany rich anyway. No need to gamble and see what works. Germany has done itself a disservice. A shame.

Which country is in the best situation with regard to debt?

purely based on debt, Germany is in a great spot. India is also pretty good. Basically every other major economy has issues w/ debt.

It's not about quantity, but rather quality, People will be willing to pay more for better products, not just mass-produced disposables esprecially as sustainability is desired. Engineering will always surpass mass production of fast obsolescence.

"People" will not have the money to buy over-engineered products. EVs rely on battery technology, which is low-tech. The rest will be bells and whistles.

Us benefit most after Germany allow the gas pipeline to be destroyed? Us benefit most when eu fails because us's divide and conquer strategy succeed as it is easier to control individual eu country then to influence eu as a united front.

@@AmonVA There definitely are structural problems but I wouldn't say that it's all set in stone Don't write off Germany already. I'm hopeful to see things change for the better in the coming years as more and more people realize what has to be done. The next general elections in 2025 will likely get things going.

You are right, Germany is not the 4th largest - it is the 5th largest. Didn't you get the IMF memo? Russia overtook Germany last year to be the 4th largest in the world and the largest in Europe.

Germany shot itself in the foot by becoming a slave to the US hegemon. Ukraine war was unnecessary - Merkel should have honoured the Minsk 2. The US war with China is not Germany's. Germany cut off its own gas supply & Biden blew the pipes - one still remains that can be switched on anytime. German foreign policy is nuts. Funny how the Greens are now the war party.

And always new prophecies of doom for Germany. It's not true that Germany can be written off across the board. Anyone who has experienced and endured so many low points in history and yet has always risen like a phoenix from the ashes must ultimately have a gift for overcoming crises. Why shouldn't Germany be able to do this? And why do people always paint such gloomy clouds in the social media sky? Germany has many advantages: freedom, creativity, conformity, security, and social integrity. Politicians must finally present a vision that people can believe in, that shows hope from which people can draw strength. Why not utilise the potential within Europe to take a step into the future? The United States has been preoccupied with itself for many years and is trying to assert its interests at the expense of the global community. Russia and China are fighting back, even though the egoism and self-centredness of dictators should not be underestimated. Germany needs the world, just as the world needs Germany as a moderator and admonisher for peaceful cooperation. Germany must never wage war again because it bears a significant burden. The burden of arrogance, know-it-all behaviour and the narrow-mindedness to show off its superiority to other nations.

China not buying German products or western goods anymore is not due to its slowdown. It now has many excellent domestic companies that give better value and quality. Western goods no longer shine and are viewed as inferior. Get that into your head.

The lack of insight in this video is amazing. The reason so few US cars are exported is that they are crap. The USA is consuming more than it produces beause of dollar hegemony Dollar hegemony is in trouble, when it ends the US economy will take a huge hit.
@nicoles9077

You like to say they are crap but many countries have tariffed US autos too, making them more expensive. So when Trump came into office and slapped the same tariffs on foreign autos the world screamed like stuffed pigs, especially the Europeans. When he returns to office you all will be screaming more. He already said he will tariff Chinese goods at 60 percent. You like to believe the US is only dominant because of the dollar, yet you ignore the fact that it took a good two centuries for the US to build a consumer based economy, meaning it’s not dependent on world markets for its well being. Mexico and Canada are its two biggest trading partners, partners who are friendly. The US is also very resource rich- meaning the country can feed itself and provide its own energy. You forget the US became an economic powerhouse at the end of the 19th century- without a petrodollar. Claiming the country will go into oblivion if it’s not the number one reserve currency has no basis in facts. The Chinese yuan is not a reserve currency yet they were doing fine. If anything it would make the US balance its budget and actually be more fiscally responsible with its spending bills, which is good in the long run.
