I don’t think the spinoffs were to spite Omari but I do believe the issues he had with CK and the network fueled the fire. I also kind of agree with him… if it was mostly about credit and acknowledgment- Omari absolutely deserved more. They didn’t try to pacify the situation AT ALL. No extra money, no producer credit. Getting offed by his own son.. like… he really had bad blood with them people and it showed.

Personally, we all know the issue is between Omari and Courtney. 50 also said recently “She can’t stand him,” and for me, Courtney’s feelings were reflected openly for all of us to see. In the words of Omari, “Ghost, that nigga, died on the floor!” Rudy, the video you posted a few months ago “Ghost is dead … for Good” gave me closure about it. I’m not even tuning in to anything 50 and or Omari have to say about it anymore. We’re all just waiting for Starz to announce the Raising Kanan season 4 date. It’s literally been crickets.

I honestly hate how they try to totally erase Ghost legacy from the Power universe like he's not the reason people tuned in and the show went to newer heights. It seems like for the past 4 years they have been trying to erase the legacy of Ghost because so many people loved his character even after his death and still to this day. The current Power timeline doesn't even feel real or relatable because none of the characters have a real endgame. Honestly Ghost is the only character in Power that had the most relatable storyline arch and end game.

That's why they still keep his name and picture in the power universe. He is the reason why people still watch the series and still wants him back nobody is asking for Kanan to come back from the death, but we still want ghost to come back.

I have to respectfully disagree but I respect your comment. Tommy is the reason why I watched Power not Ghost. Maybe because I'm biased Tommy is my favorite character in the entire Power universe. Not taking anything away from Ghost. Tommy Marvin OG Kanan Ghost and Cane are my top 5 characters in the entire Power universe. Happy new year

We didn't expect to attach to Marvin, Raq, etc...we initially only watched it to see Breeze and young Ghost. Joey is doing great as Unique, which is why everyone wants to make him "Breeze"...but these were total surprises

I agree with you💯. As much as the character Tariq was hated for shooting one of the most beloved characters Stars ever had. No one would have tuned in to Ghost Power Book 2 if it wasn't for the fact or the hopes that Omari was coming back as Ghost. Nobody was checking for that little grimmin Toweak, can't fight, spoiled rich kid, the plots didn't make sense. They were trying to push this kid down our throats. They tried to have him being something that he wasn't, Ghost and Tommy grew up in the streets, fighting hand to hand, learning how to shoot. Tariq grew up with a silver spoon... Please make it make sense. All of a sudden he's a top notch shooter, he bearly held a gun before he got lucky with Ray-Ray, truthfully, that should have played out the way it did. They are all over the place, with this show and storyline now, Raising, Kanan is the best adaptation of the Power universe. Think about it at the very end, we know Tommy most likely called to Tariq, this makes no sense, because why would Tommy be calling a kid to help him fight in a drug war? If he was gonna make a call to anybody he would have called 2-Bit somebody he knows is battle tested, the last we saw of uncle Tommy he was leaving NYC after his dear nephew asked him for help against Normara, he refused and told him it wasn't his war. Then Tommy turns around and calls him for help, he didn't know if he was alive or dead😂. Courtney Kimp, from what I hear, was interested in Omari in a romantic way, that man is married, he rejected her, and after that, that's when every thing soured between the to of them. She was dating the actor that plays 2-Bit. When they first started, he got bigger parts and was more important in the show. As soon as everything soured between the to of them, you saw how they cut his scenes, his roles got smaller, and then they just wrote him off the show in a pathetic way, he would have been really useful to Tommy on Force. I think one of the reasons why Omari hasn't been back is because, although Courtney is not the show runner anymore, she's still a producer on it.

He didn’t appear because they didn’t pay him. He was supposed to save Tariq in the final episode. If you paid attention…you’d know that they rewrote the last 5 episodes of the final season…leaving loose ends untied: Monet never found out Tasha shot her…Tate never found out who actually killed his brother

Ghost definitely is the reason I started watching Power. The show is still going strong- but what they fail to realize is there's still more meat on the bone that's left out there cause they never brought Ghost back. They'd be making even more money. That character baiscally made the series.

Here are the reasons why Ghost didn't return. Story reasons 1. Ghost is dead,Tariq Shot him in the heart 2. The point of book 2 being named Ghost is because Tariq is suppose to become the "Ghost" of his generation. Real life reason 1. Courtney kemp and Omari got beef 2. Starz don't wanna pay the man the money he asking for

Ghost is The single Greatest character in The entire Power series, they would be historically epically dropping the ball by never reviving Omari's character. Omari definitely deserves more, but the issue he has is not with Courtney or 50. It's with Starz. Courtney and 50 don't even work for starz anymore after their deals ended. If Starz didn't want to pay 50 and Courtney more money to stay with them, what makes you think they'll give Omari what he wants? Seems pretty evident that Starz is the problem to me imo.
