Last April, my boss praised my "phenomenal performance" (his words) and gave me a huge raise. A month later I was fired and told that it was because the company doesn't have enough opportunities for me to grow in my role. I worked in this company for 6 years, during which I got promoted 4 times. I conceptualized their award-winning product. There is really no point in worrying if you're good enough. It really makes no difference when they want you out. 🤷♀️

yes i worked for 2 years as a lead developer and they were always happy with my work, unfortunately there funding ran out 😂😂 so yes worrying about work and performance at work didn't really mattered in the end

There may be dirty corporate politics linked with your firing without any of your fault. May be your salary was perceived as high after your huge raise. Find out facts.

I was the best performer at this international company, every week I was given performer of the week, all of a sudden one day they decided to put me on pip, cause the manager didn't like me.

"I don't feel part of the team. Also people don't talk to me a lot, so I've started keeping away from them." This feels so personal, and so deep. As an Introverted person, my best and only friend told me that, people want to talk to you, but they don't cuz you don't talk to them and stay in your own world. Maybe I just needed to hear the exact same thing from You tube🙃

This video is really great . The way you people present the whole theme of the topic in a way of conversation with a character along with his background story to make it relatable and rightly giving the advice for the frequently asked questions. Though I am not working yet but even I also feel I always lack something that I haven't achieved, though there will be people around me telling you have achieved great but yet it's just my inner feeling that I don't feel satisfied enough with my result of any aspects in life .

One worrying trend i see among young people is the glamorisation of struggling. Be it the struggle in tough exams or getting a job or getting a promotion. Why should it be that inspite of me being deserving / intelligent I have to always scratch and claw and prove myself again and again? Why do people glamourise that inspite of failing 5 times some person finally cleared UPSC ? Why cant the mindset of our country change and systems improved so that people are not treated unjustly and get what they deserve ? Do you ever hear about the “STRUGGLES” of students and employees in other countries abroad ?
@User--died123417 күн бұрын
It's because it's really is a great thing that even after failing so many times one did not give up on their dream yes you are right people should not glamorise this and just because of this people have made money as such businesses out of those so called failed aspirants
@TheAnalyst-ib9rr16 күн бұрын
It's because the generations of the past or China struggled more than you can imagine.
@ajraol903216 күн бұрын
@User-died1234 Struggling is not bad. But the struggle needs to be sensible. For example in IIMs people dont get an interview in top colleges even after scoring 99th percentile. Same people go abroad and easily get admission to USA universities that are more prestigious
@User--died123414 күн бұрын
@ajraol9032 percentile and percentage is diff bro n yeah it's a harsh reality because of our population and the govt is not doing anything to improve this and moreover people have accepted this fact

This guy is already an overachiever. That’s why you are able to answer back all his self doubts. Most MNC people don’t work in Microsoft just after campus and other factors he mentioned is not for average IT employees.

Okay so, let's suppose that I don't care about these things anymore and starts enjoying my life, but then what about my responsibilities! What about my mental health when society will start treating me differently when I am not an employee of a big MNC anymore ? In this era even your partner is with you because you are adding some value to their life. So IF ANYONE IS STARTING FROM SCRATCH, JUST NORMALIZE THESE THOUGHTS AND TRY TO GIVE YOUR 100%, But not to make your manager happy or your company happy. Goal should be self satisfaction by fulfilling those ambitions.
