I feel like dizzy is one of those characters that's probably going to get a huge rework like testament. Besides that, I'm genuinely excited about 3 v 3 mode. I wonder if you can play it offline or even with only 2 players.

Eh, Testament had stupid fighting game stuff in XX like overhead 6P and traps that are invisible and don't go away on hit. Dizzy is pretty straight forward, they'll probably take away a few moves or maybe simplify the angel/devil moves a bit but largely leave them as is (like Slayer basically). XX testament did NOT fit into strive at ALL, while I think Dizzy can pretty much fit right in with Asuka and even Testament lol.

She doesn't need that much adjustments. She'd likely lose the bubble and long as she doesn't have too awful of an air movement like Bedman got, she should be fine.

@@GriFFonRec4yeah in xrd she already had a kit similar to most strive characters (especially since she didn’t really have combos without either corner or meter). My guess is they will take away the different options on the various moves and probably give her a new move to compensate. I’d also bet they will either remove bubble or spike. Probably make bubble stupid by taking away the ability to manually pop it.

I really wonder how they will deal with her movelist in strive, they seem to not really like including dp inputs unless needed, with dizzy having reverse dp inputs that no one has in strive so far and her usage of the D button specials. Strive being a pretty grounded game makes it a bit hard to imagine dizzy's very fast airdash style working here. In terms of specials she had: 236 p/k/s/h and j.236p 214 p/k/s/h/d and j.214 p/k/s/h/d 421s/h on the ground she had 236/214 inputs for every button, along with 214dust which ofc cant be in the game as is with its current input because of deflect shield. most of this is fine looking at asuka who has 236/214 inputs for every button + in the air too, along with 22h+x (air ok). Main things are the ones currently bound to dust and the 421 inputs. gonna be interesting seeing how they redesign/adjust moves to make her style work in strive

4:30 This is what i'm worried about a bit tbh. I do think she'll be fine without the 25% meter options though(from a zoning standpoint). It will hurt her a bit and hurt players that played the character previously in learning combos, but I feel that'll just make more creative uses for the character.

Everything you just mentioned is why I LOVED her. I love having a character who is good at just about any range of the screen. Yeah her defense sucked, but her range of options was just so engaging to play with and when you got momentum with Dizzy, it felt like the only limit to your mix was your imagination.

She was way too complex for my teenage brain at the time but ever since GBVS adding zooey and playing playing ferry till then I grew to love having good okizeme and setplay so I'm glad she's coming back again as I dont really care for the other characters who fit the bill and don't have to be confined to older games, which I still play and especially want to improve in still but feel like its a little harder to get matches consistently and become a menace

I know this is a long shot, but the thing that worries me the most is her re-design and I hope they take a couple steps back to make her look a little more like her old self (you know, heavy metal and pigtails) I'm a Dizzy fan since X back on the PS2 and I can barely recognize her in what was shown of her yet. And YEAH, I know her lore is advancing, etc. (she was already a mother in Xrd Rev 2) but taming down her battle design is a little too meh for me, especially in a world of woke.

Welp… I joined fighting games for the first time ever. I was instantly drawn to Nago just because of his character model. Been playing for 3-4 months and have consistently been in celestial since month 2. I haven’t played any other fighting games other than GGST and it’s definitely been an awesome journey.
