I recently returned to Guilty Gear after playing a lot of Tekken, and I think a large part of why I like Guilty Gear more is the community perspective. Tekken players tend to take themselves far too seriously, whining about anything that looks to be a stain on their perfect, honest, fundamentals focused game. Because bedman has a LOT of visual noise. You have a foreground npc running around with you, explosions that just completely cover what the bedman's doing, and most importantly, Bedman's visual noise can happen _While he is doing other things._ It's one thing to have visually-noisy moves, it's another to have visually-noisy moves that activate automatically on a timer while the bed is actively locking you into a blockstring so he can 50/50 you while his attacks are literally not visible.

I recently started gaining enough courage and playing online against randoms and I relate hard to this video and now I finally see why people blame the beasts so much... Also, as an avid Bedmain I can confirm that if you fight us prepare for a few things: Overheads, Beyblade, Explosions, and when you least expect it Overdrives these two moves alone carry me, so God damn much it's how I beat my opponent 99.99% of the time. While they're dealing with the explosions I go: "I'd be damn shame if I suddenly did an overhead now wouldn't it?" and it almost always works same with mid-air Beyblade or round start Beyblade they just don't see it coming somehow... Also, I did not expect the Chip from Sonic Unleashed picture fir Chipp it caught me so off guard!

“Ky has no downsides” fun fact is that he has no upsides either. If you’re getting hit by stun dipper, a move that will disconnect on the second hit if not used at a very specific range, your problem is that you’re just not blocking. Also imagine hating Gio. One of the most respectable fights in the game.
