Wonderful video! Well expressed and I think you explained gun rights well. If you don't mind my asking, are you comfortable with the level of control over guns in Canada? Or do you think you'd be safer being able to carry them wherever?

Gun laws here are way too restrictive. On the other hand, not everyone should be carrying guns due to mental health or psychotic disorders. I am for carrying, but I understand that may not be the best in certain places. I think background checks should be required.

In new Hampshire, gun laws are basically normal and its fine. Not too restrictive or anything

That's great to hear. Unfortunately in Canada, the laws a very restrictive. There also isn't much push back because Canadians are not part of a gun culture sorta speak. The majority of the population are anti-gun.

The Andrew K Channel I am not in favor of background checks, or firearms restrictions of any type. I think the idea behind background checks are well intentioned, and that many people who want expanded gun control have nothing but the best at heart. However I take issue with the different background checks that are pushed for by groups and other lobbyists. I want the govt in as little of my life as possible. Is it a flawed opinion? Maybe and I’m open to conversation about it. But that is what I believe.

@@The_SmorgMan I can understand where you are coming from. I do think there are self serving agendas going on that take advantage of those who "don't like guns" or have the good intentions with gun control. Particularly the agenda to ban guns out right. I agree that the government should have limited involvement in people's lives. I think that the agenda of all governments is to increase its presence and control over the society. That is why it is always a back and forth between the public and invasive laws created by Government. I do however support background checks in terms of a criminal past and if a person has a history of violence because of a mental illness. I think you would agree that responsible gun owners often are categorized with irresponsible gun owners or those who abuse guns by most people with an anti-gun ideology when ever someone commits a crime with a gun? In Canada our culture is mostly anti-gun, and there is a stigma for those who own and use guns. However there is a fairly large portion of the population that supports game hunting. So hunting is popular here. Using a gun for self-defense is almost unthinkable here as you carry a massive burden to prove reasonable cause to use a deadly weapon.

Livin in germany and we dont really need them. Yes there are some guys who think we do but most of them are.. lets say, not the brightest lights.. If you walk arround outside in germany, you will only see a gun on the Police. But we dont have a problem with it because we know that it's super hard in germany to get a gun. Means it's very VERY unlikely that somebody you meet on the street has a gun. This means, if somebody would actually attack you, it would be a knife or something. You can run from a knife. Cant run from a gun. We already found out that we dont need guns to take on our own goverment. A few years ago, there was a huge Demo in Hamburg. The Police was almost helpless If the People want to take the goverment down, they can. But when it comes to the US, I get it and then i dont.. Almost everybody there can get a gun. Means even the wrong guys need a gun. The good guy with a gun can stop the bad guy with a gun Argument is not valid. How many mass shootings were stopped by a civilian with a gun? Exacly.. But if I would live in the US i would get a gun too.. Why? Because every other idiot can get a gun and i cant trust the goverment to keep the guns of the bad guys. Here in germany i can. Yes some get through an get a gun but germany is very good at keeping it under control.
