@@polystrate1 The point is to live as if He is coming. He always is returning, as judge (that is, ultimate consequence of trajectory), at the end of every moment, and he steals it away. You must not be caught up in the times, in the popular opinions, neither in positive nor negative ways. You must simply always be prepared for the end of everything temporal, which is constantly occurring. This must of course be understood within the framework that it is life, love, light, truth, beauty which is eternal, and that you are made to partake in that.

@@I9s7lam5is-S3tu1pid The Gospel of Jesus was originally one book, written by Lazarus in consultation with the Apostles [John 21:24] and published soon after Jesus left them on their own. The religion was hijacked by Rome, the Gospel was broken up scrambled adulterated into a bunch of competing narratives. Later four of those adulterated gospels were canonized with falsely ascribed authorship and a Gnosticism cover-story. It was the finding of an original Gospel of Jesus scroll in Jerusalem that gained the Knights Templar power over the Church and their eventual undoing when the church finally retaliated against them Friday 13th.

I'm a little disturbed by this because the entire Bible tells us clearly wicked and evil men will wax worse and worse and the antichrist Kingdom will envelope the whole earth just before Christ returns. Anyone arguing we are going to slowly convert the whole world to Christianity and then Jesus will return is not read the same Bible I am. If you are willing to twist the word of the Bible this radically, you can pretty much make it say and mean whatever you desire.

I'm a Pre Tribulation Period kinda guy because The Bible backs it up. Why hasn't Jesus returned yet? UM because He hasn't returned yet from doing His Father's Will. This mindless generation of iconoclasts, pagans and Atheists desperate for attention always blame religion for their problems and I wonder why 🤔🤣? MORE TIK TOK MISINFORMATION 😂. AMEN brother Michael Jones we love his Inspiring Philosophy's Apologetics ministry is awesome fellow brothers and sisters in Christ our Lord and God bless you ALL 🙏❤️👊. There's almost no critical thinking in most reasons for religious beliefs, blindly believing things without evidence, Atheism and unbelief I guess is just another word for unreasonable skepticism and cynicism 🤔. Atheism ain't got nothing new or better to offer than the very religious beliefs it's critical of so it's hypocrisy at it's finest 😂. Hello this is for all you Atheists, unbelievers and skeptics. I'm going to address a few misconceptions and lies about God's Character and His Word. The Bible doesn't support chattel slavery or anything else Immoral. Ok so Atheists and unbelievers say God is either Immoral, incompetent or not responsible so let's see what The Scriptures actually say. God revealed himself and created a nation in a real, historical context. It was a world with a slave-based economy, with city states often at war with each other, with polygamous marriages to ensure the continuation of family lines. The laws of the Old Testament regulate this behaviour. Slaves are to be treated humanely (Exodus 21:11). They are given rights and not seen as mere possessions. Hebrew slaves were able to buy their own freedom. Human trafficking is condemned (Exodus 21:16). In contrast to the law code of Babylon, Old Testament Israel was a light to the nations. The Old Testament law and narratives do not stand alone. Jesus is now the best example of what we read. So the moral teaching of the Bible cannot be summarised by a quote taken out of context from the Old Testament to demonize God and His Word. Slavery was permitted in Old Testament law but it was regulated by God giving the Israelites instructions on how to fairly and humanely treat their slaves (it was like indentured servitude where someone could work for you if they owed debts or needed income not cruel like chattel slavery). God allowed the people of Israel to own slaves since they themselves has already experienced over 400 years of generations of Egyptian slavery and knew how inhumane it was to be beaten, overworked and taxed so God set them apart from other nations and cultures around them by giving them a fair way to treat their slaves since slavery had already existed in the world but it doesn't mean God condoned it just used it for His Will to bring Good And in the light of the whole scriptural teaching, we find the reasons for its ultimate abolition (Ephesians 6:9; Colossians 4:1-3; Philemon 15-16 and Galatians 3:28). The Word of God provided the moral standard against slavery in the Roman Empire and against the slave trade in the New World. But what of genocide or holy war in the book of Joshua? Several things could be pointed out. The use of warfare in the ancient world did not always mean literal total destruction, even when events are described in such terms. Furthermore, the book of Joshua does not describe a genocide. It is not a race who are being wiped out, as in genocide, but a religious practice which was often appalling and degrading. Those who repent (like Rahab from Jericho or Ruth) are not destroyed but become part of Israel. It is not the racial group that is in view but their "detestable practices". However, after all is said, we must still acknowledge that God brought judgment on the nations of Canaan. It is not our place as believers isn't to sugar-coat the Bible. For some skeptics, this is enough to make God a moral monster. But the fact is that Jesus continued to affirm that God is a Judge who will bring a future judgment on all peoples and all nations. God’s judgment will be just. The list of Old Testament stories rejected by critics often leads to a similar dismissal of the New Testament teaching of Jesus on the existence of hell. After all, what was the Flood of Genesis or the conquest of Joshua if not a glimpse of future judgment? Hell does not demonstrate cruelty on God’s part, but it does demonstrate His Holiness and our moral accountability. Perhaps this is the real reason many people rail against the God of the Bible? It is not that they think He is a moral monster, but that they are afraid He is a moral Judge, and that has implications for our behaviour now. God is an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being and we as His creatures have Eternal souls and spirits so the punishment for our sins against Him must therefore also be Eternal but so must the reward for righteousness that's why He sent His Son Jesus to live a perfectly righteous and sinless Life (which none of us could ever possibly expect to do) suffer the humiliating and torturous death of crucifixion to shed His Own Blood willingly so that all who willingly accept His gift of salvation by grace through faith in Him will be saved and given Eternal life because that's what God wants is for us to willingly accept His gift of salvation and choose life. Exodus 21:20-21 literally speaks about capital punishment befalling anyone who mistreats their slaves so yes people are taking Scripture out of context to demonize God who literally promises that slaves who are mistreated under someone else's authority is to be avenged. When we hear the word “slavery” we think of innocent human beings, kept prisoner for life, having no rights under law and so reduced to animals. This is clearly immoral because it is unjust: the slave has done nothing to deserve the treatment. The situation described as “slavery” in the Bible was nothing like this. It is more accurately described as one of indentured servitude. Many “slaves” were indentured servants, working for a term of years Some other “slaves” were prisoners. There were no prisons. Prisoners had to work to live like everyone else. Some had life sentences. Some served a term and were released. People didn't beat their good slaves but treated them well and protected their assets thus. But no matter how rebellious a slave was, you couldn't just beat them to death. And if you knocked out their tooth or damaged their eye then you had to set them free. (Exodus 21:26). God wasn't using what other nations did because He wanted to set His Chosen People of Israel apart from the cruel, inhumane and unjust systems other cultures had so He gave them a fair way to treat their slaves and servants. There is a lot of ignorance on this topic which is understandable given the age we live in but it's not the nefarious set up we think of when we think of modern slavery. The question Atheists must ask themselves is how come the Jews aren't being accused of slavery and human trafficking if they're guilty of it in The Bible and why would white slave owners rip out pages from The Old and New Testament Scriptures to justify their owning blacks as slaves if The Bible already justified slavery?

I don't know bro, this kind of seems like emotionalism to me. Didn't Jesus say that those who are not with him are against him? Didn't Jesus also say that we should fear the one who can destroy both body and soul in Gehenna? Wasn't it outlined in Revelation that when Christ returns that he will lay waste to all that oppose him and that the birds of the air will feast on the flesh of his enemies? So while agree with some of your sentiments and views in the video, I think you're ultimately misrepresenting Jesus here. Scripture clearly states that his first coming was as the lamb, where he willingly laid down his life for those that choose to follow, and that his second coming well be as the lion. Also, humans will never be ready for Christ's return. Humans will always be prideful creatures. It is in our fallen nature.

At 6:12 you say the return of Jesus in our current time would only end in bloodshed. That's exactly how the New Testament describes it, though. It is glory and celebration for the saints, but terror and destruction for the wicked. "since indeed God considers it just to repay with affliction those who afflict you, and to grant relief to you who are afflicted as well as to us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might, when he comes on that day to be glorified in his saints, and to be marveled at among all who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed." 2 Thessalonians 1:6‭-‬10 ESV

I agree. What are we to make of all that is foretold in revelations if Jesus' return is not to be a time of judgement? I agree with the point that we should not rejoice in the fact that our enemies will perish but I don't understand how that means Christ will come down and there won't be judgement.

What constitutes "ready for his return"? From what I read the second coming is a "ready of not... here I come". 42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. 45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. 47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. 48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; 49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; 50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, 51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

@@InspiringPhilosophy I'm a Pre Tribulation Period kinda guy because The Bible backs it up.

Which of the following prophecies ever came through, for they were predicted to be fulfilled in the generation that Jesus lived. 1 John 2:18 18 Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. Matthew 16:27-28 27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. 28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. Mark 13:24-30 24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, 25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. 26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. 27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. 28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near: 29 So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors. 30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done. Matthew 24:29-35 29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. 32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. Matthew 10:19-23 19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. 20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you. 21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. 22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. 23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. Acts 2:14-20 14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: 15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: 19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come: Deuteronomy 18:21-22 21 And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord hath not spoken? 22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him. Definition of generation: all of the people born and living at about the same time, regarded collectively.

@@mariobethell3731 besides the last video IP put out on the contingent prophecy view you should also go watch the video put out by The Analytic Christian on the delay of the parousia which also takes the contingent prophecy view. Essentially they point out that the passage in Deuteronomy was one test of a prophet but there was a second means of testing a prophet which finds full expression in the prophecies of Jeremiah but can be shown to be operative more of the time than even the deuteonomical test. That being said, I'm also a Orthodox preterist so I believe that while many of these things had a fulfillment either in the ministry of Christ, the Acts Church, or at the fall of Jerusalem, that there will be a final fullfillment of the rest at the second coming. So to address the passages you've brought up the only three that explicitly said that the generation of Jesus would not pass away before it was accomplished was Mark 13:24-30, Matthew 16:27-28, 24:28-35 which most people looking at the surrounding context can quickly see is, at least in part, a reference to the transubstantiation. So to quickly deal with the rest: 1 John 2:18: fulfillment is right there in the text, many antichrists have already come. Mark13:24-30: partially fulfilled at the transubstantiation(24-26), final fulfillment at the second coming(27), but fulfillment delayed for the reasons IP laid out in these last 2 videos. Matthew 24:29-35:partially fulfilled at the transubstantiation(29-30), final fulfillment at the second coming(31), but fulfillment delayed for the reasons IP laid out in these last 2 videos. Matthew 10:19-23: fulfillment in the Resurrection. Acts 2:14-20: Fulfillment at pentecost and in the ministry of the churches documented throughout the book of acts.(17-19). Full fulfillment (the day of the Lord) may have been the fall of the temple in 70 a.d. but may have its greatest fulfillment in the second coming, there were many days of the Lord throughout the old testament all of which are shadows and types of the final judgement. So there you go. Some were fulfilled, even fulfilled in multiple ways within the generation of the apostles and disciples Jesus was speaking to, some have been delayed and will have their initial fulfillment at the second coming, and others were partially fulfilled whether in the ministry of Jesus and the Acts Church, or at the fall of Jerusalem in 70 and, but will have their final fulfillment at the second coming.

How does this explanation jive with the many verses in the OT/NT that say the world will be in a state of rebellion against God when Jesus returns? You say that Jesus is waiting for the world to be ready to accept him as king. But the Bible seems explicit that it will be precisely the opposite.

So. I have mixed feelings about this because I respect you and the work you do. I’ve been a Believer since 1975, and other than people whom I know, wrapped around the axle of this world’s politics, I have not encountered the kind of Christian you are describing; I am not naive, as I have said I know such people exist. I 100% agree with you that if you call yourself a Christian and a Believer and are wishing damnation on your enemies and longing for Jesus to be the instrument of that, you’re like James and John, calling fire down, and have missed Who has Saved you! Simultaneously, although the scripture plainly says that God is giving humanity time, because He doesn’t want any to perish, fact of the matter is, time will run out and people will perish, you kind of state this but it needs to be emphasized. Judgement is not a nice thing, it is a laying bare, Jesus died and rose, so no one would have to face that, but many will! But to the point, God has a timetable, He is merciful, but judgement will come, many will long for the kingdom to come, but many won’t. Even in Revelation it talks about how people want the rocks and hills to bury them to hide them from the Shining Presence when He appears and returns for all to see. Metaphorically or not, when ever this happens, everyone will not be ready for it or look forward to it’s happening. It’s interesting that in the controversial book of Revelation, The Revelation Of Jesus, at the end of a thousand years, it states that Satan will be loosed from his prison to go out and deceive the nations again, and apparently they are deceived and go to war against the Lord and against His saints, however you or anyone interprets this, something significant happens here, a rebellion. The prophetic language is very harsh in the way that God then wipes them all out and then a The Final Judgement. Somewhere, it may be Revelation or Daniel or one of the Prophets, it is written, He will rule the nations with a rod of iron. So is it possible that even under God’s rule that there will be an undercurrent of discontent brought about by His rule? Satan and his angels rebelled against God, so it has occurred, even Eden had it’s rebellion. I believe that when Jesus comes back, paradigms will be overturned, it won’t be nice, it won’t be clean but He will rule. I think that 1000 years will be a period of lengthy adjustment, but don’t forget, His followers, as He stated In Matthew 24 will be separated out, Paul says that we won’t all die, but at the last trumpet, we will be changed absolutely into some different kind of beings, incorruptible, that sounds instantaneous...so what we will be, I do not know. But I do believe that the nations of the earth will not be like what we will become. So the Kingdom is growing in hearts being prepared for a new existence, but unbelievers, it seems, will also be given even more opportunities to accept or reject God’s rule, and even in the end, many will reject Him, one more final time. After all God’s Love and Mercy, people will still reject Him.

In my opinion there’s too many holes in the Bible that don’t make sense to me I used to believe but then I thought about it for a while and realize that in the end it doesn’t make sense and so I lost my faith. Don’t think most of us pray for Jesus’ return just so He can destroy our enemies. Matter of fact I think it’s the opposite. That’s why most churches are involved in missions, cause they want to spread the gospel and make the world aware of who Jesus is. We have martyrs even to this very day some who were missionaries who were killed on the mission field and some who were converted. At the moment gross persecution is not prominent in the West, however, it does exist in many other countries. Many of those being persecuted have prayed for their enemies and were murdered. Some are put in prison and their faith has not been shaken and they too pray for their enemies. Doesn’t mean we do not want to see injustice, bigotry, violence and wickedness come to an end. Desiring the end of such things doesn’t mean our motives are selfish and prideful either.

You ask many (good) questions after the introduction to this video. I get the point and agree with you that the vast majority of believers are not ready. There will be only a small minority who are prepared after the apostasy (great falling away) and deaths during the tribulation. I submit that all of the answers are contained in the details of the Book of Revelation. Rev 9:18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. Rev 14:19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. Rev 14:20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs. Lots of blood during the final judgement...

I have to say, while I enjoy your content, this is the strangest take in the end times ideas that I’ve ever heard. Perhaps it’s a denominational issue, I can’t say, but I’ve never heard suggested that Christ would come back in a way in which the entire world is ready to accept him. It’s always been my understanding that he would redeem his church from the world and then the world would only be that much worse for it. And then, once things were as bad as they were in the days of Noah, he would return again with judgment; to set up his thousand year kingdom. I’m other words, it’s to get substantially worse before it gets any better. And in the day of the coming of the lord, there are none that can stand against him. Never have I heard anyone suggest the world would one day be prepared for him to come in to a world prepared to accept him. Perhaps further yet, if a “savior” comes and the world says peace, we’re told that this is in fact a sign of deception and of the end.

God said in Quran about Jesus (peace be upon him): " And [mention] when the angels said, "O Mary, indeed God has chosen you and purified you and chosen you above the women of the worlds. O Mary, be devoutly obedient to your Lord and prostrate and bow with those who bow [in prayer]. That is from the news of the unseen which We reveal to you, [O Muhammad]." (Quran 3:42-43) " [And mention] when the angels said, “O Mary, indeed God gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary - distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to God ]. He will speak to the people in the cradle and in maturity and will be of the righteous. She said, "My Lord, how will I have a child when no man has touched me?" [The angel] said, "Such is God ; He creates what He wills. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, 'Be,' and it is. He will teach him the Scripture and wisdom, the Torah and the Gospel, And [make him] a messenger to the Children of Israel, [who will say], 'Indeed I have come to you with a sign from your Lord in that I design for you from clay [that which is] like the form of a bird, then I breathe into it and it becomes a bird by permission of God.(Quran 03:45-49) "[Mention] when God said, "O Jesus, indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you [in submission to God alone] superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ." (Quran 3:55 )

I am post trib due to my fascination of revelation since I was a kid. I would have to say I do take Christs character in Revelation very seriously. I think we should all be concerned to think that Christ won’t come back with wrath and Judgment with very little emphasis on how he was during the New Testament. I always remember that the God of the Old Testament is still Christ. His first coming was for salvation and forgiveness whereas the Pharisees expected the Messiah to be like Christs depiction in the second coming (a great powerful leader who led his people to victory). Christ warns the Pharisees that his time for judgement has not come yet but WILL be at the end of days. I have always disliked this friendly Christ idea in the last days because i believe it is a big factor to why many modern Christians now push false doctrine and ideas (rapture, preterism, all loving). People want an excuse to not go through suffering which I can fully understand but we must remember all the saints and apostles who carried their cross. In order for evil to perish there must be strict Judgement for what lurks in secret in politics, Hollywood, business etc with the clear presence of the demonic which has been praying on man since creation. Without Christ being a judge this will not go away. We have been warned for long enough. Many are called but few are chosen. Btw IP THE 🐐 NO 🧢

Sorry but The Revelation does not depict Jesus returning to a world already willing to accept him without resistance, this resistance you speak is what's depicted in Prophecy. And Jesus wasn't born into a Poor family, that's a myth built mainly a mistranslation of Luke, He was born into the acknowledged rightful inheritance of King David in The City of David. And no He was not reject the first time people who expected a violent Messiah, John 11 is clear the Priest were threatened by Him because they found Him too provocative. Non will Perish because I believe in Universal Salvation, those whoa re Judged will be cured by that Judgment not destroyed.

The Gospel of Jesus was originally one book, written by Lazarus in consultation with the Apostles [John 21:24] and published soon after Jesus left them on their own.

A sectarian Christian judging other Christians for not holding his sectarian views because he believes they are judging others for not holding their sectarian views. I like many of IP’s videos even though he clearly comes from a different sect than myself. I’ve never benefited from these more divisive videos of his, never found them insightful or mind-changing. They only make me wonder if I like his more generic Christian videos because I have confirmation bias. In videos like these I can easily see the errors, misrepresentations, hypocrisy, and inconsistencies. Post-millennialism lost its popularity for a reason; it was not for any mentioned in this video. The expectations that Christ will come back with a sword and judgment are derived from scripture not sinful pride or a sense of vengeance within the hearts of Christians. While Christ may tarry due to a desire for more people to be included in his kingdom, he cannot be tarrying due to a desire for fewer people to be lost. There are always more outside the kingdom than within - even counting every sect of Christians as legitimate. The larger the world’s population, the more people who are lost is greater than the more who are saved. Saying that those who resist the Lord’s return is the fault of the church is incoherent with the belief in free will. Is only God restricted by free will? Can the church overcome a person’s free will while God cannot? No, but some arrogant, over-educated, judgmental youth who think the issues that trouble us are simple have to put their own thoughts into the mouth of God while judging others for possibly doing the same. It seems a sign of our times that people make accusations that better fit themselves. This video is the product of a man’s imagination; not from scripture, not from God, not inspiring.

Once again... i just pray that His return is soon becuase i just want to be off this planet. It has brought nothing but pain, misery, disrespect, torture, and despair to my life and story. To freaking others who live in this world. People kill themselves almost every day because they're tired of the evil that surrounds this planet. How it throws that evil at them in bursts. This world sucks to live in. It is sick and wicked. Our only hope to keep on livin' in this world is through His promise... that He will be our comforter and deliverer of our pain and sorrows. His return shall not determine my faith. If He returns after i die? So be it. But... *I just have to grit my teeth knowing of what im about to endure.*

The Bible gives us a lot to know when the time is near. We have prophecies and many clues from scripture. No one but the Father knows, Matthew 24:36. This sounds to me more like a universalist approach, which I completely disagree with. Free will in humanity prevents all from becoming children in "harmony". The world will never be ready, nothing about, everyone is going to believe and accept, which is how I took the end of this video. I wish all people would believe and accept. A true Christian should want all to accept Christ's forgiveness and experience salvation and an eternal relationship with their creator God.

You do make some really good points, however the world wasn't ready the first time around and yet it happened and an argument could be made because the state of the world is deteriorating ever faster that he might return soon or may even be among us already. We do not know when Christ will return, only the Father knows. Still though those are really valid questions that we as Christians should be asking ourselves and trying to work with Christ in remedying those things. As always great work, absolutely love that rational approach of yours.

Same, I like the message, but I don’t think it necessarily contradicts a point of view of wanting Jesus to return. After all, the Book of Revelation, given to John by the Lord himself depicts the cries of the saints through many generations and from many nations - not in seeking vengeance, but in a longing for the suffering present in a fallen world to end. I just don’t think we’ll be ready for Christ to return in the way that IP thinks (as the whole of humanity) at any point in time. I don’t find it in the prophetic scriptures, nor does scripture say that this reasoning has much to do with the return of Christ. In fact all scriptures indicate the second coming as being one in the midst of distress, and even in Revelation the armies of the world gathered to make war against God. The world is depicted as scoffing and ignorant in the last days, but trembling at what is coming upon the earth as the distress reaches its peak. God is love, but at some point God is still fit to judge. In fact, he is the only one who is. I said I like the message but that I don’t think it contradicts the historic premill view because even if we believe judgement is coming, and even if we want our Lord to return, naturally we should still seek the salvation of all. And as such, we must always check that our hearts are seeking not our own vindication, but the salvation of all - even if we believe it won’t happen. Of course, my eschatological views are up to debate but indeed I have the right interpretation, the only arguments formed against them should be based in scripture. And if my interpretative camp is correct about eschatology, then why would we expect any of the things that IP mentioned to happen? Leaders won’t get a chance to discuss the things suggested - scripture says they will be hiding in fear as well, and when Christ returns, it is as king - there will be no chance for this. They will tremble because judgement will have come on the earth. And we won’t be ready because the race all Christians run, and our struggles to put sin to death, and to hold fast to our faith by the grace of God, is a race all believers will run. Better conditions and worse conditions have created mixed results, and yet the world still rejects Christ. Now the gospel has reached every nation save for a few tribes maybe, and now many have rejected it. In the time of Christ, Christ spoke of those who reject the gospel and told his disciples to spit there (or something like that). Even if we had a more Christianized world there’s a sort of force to it - social pressure. Even in churches today we see this as being true. Besides, if the historic premill camp is correct, then those who endure the tribulation and hold fast to the faith will welcome the Lord’s return. We will be refined in the tribulation even. Of course it’s possible that the postmills are right, but I generally feel they are too sure of their interpretation and sometimes their reasoning. In any case, premill, postmill, the only thing that matters is that we put our faith in Jesus and his good works, the spreading of the gospel, and our holding fast to the faith. What we can take from each view is that we should hope for all to come to Christ (kind of claimed by postmills but it really doesn’t come with the postmill view. However, the people who are “doom and gloom” and would rather just isolate themselves in preparation for the end rather than testify of Christ…), and that we should be ready to welcome Christ at any minute, which I think postmills tend to ignore - correct me if I’m wrong. I don’t think we can reasonably or scriptural expect the world universally to be ready to welcome Christ as king, but perhaps we can hope.

Wow! What a sad way to think about your fellow brothers and sisters! To assume we want to see our so-called " enemies " to suffer and to gloat over each other regarding our interpretation of the bible. I have never once since being saved have desired anyone to suffer, especially at Jesus returning. Also, forgeting the fact that i consider everyone to be a potential brother or sister for eternity. And to assume I have all of scripture correct and to want to say " i told you so to a fellow brother or sister!" None of us have everything correct! As much as I want Jesus to return.... I always think " what if he returned before i was saved?" So, how selfish is it to want him to return instantly now that i am saved! No, there are too many lost souls that need our Lord and Savior, we need to continue the work the Lord started, he commanded us to!

If Jesus has to wait for the world to be "ready" to accept him, He surely will never come (won't this also kind of imply that God, who is completely sovereign, must make His plans according to what humans do?). Also, I'm pretty sure that John 1:29 does not mean that the world will reduce its sins over time, as it seems you implied. When Jesus comes back He will judge people (Matthew 25:31-32 makes this clear). Psalm 2:9 gives us that Jesus will rule with a rod of iron. Nations will not just accept Him. Revelation 19:15-21 also makes it glaringly obvious that there will be a war. So no, the world will never be ready to accept Jesus, neither will the majority of Christians be ready, as many of them are false Christians. Many people dupe themselves into thinking they are saved. Just take one gander at the pentecostal churches, how they just care about emotions, how many of those people live in unrepentant sin. Furthermore, many catholics (who I'm sure make up a large portion of the total "Christian" count) are at the very best nominal. Matthew 7:13-14 applies to us all

I generally like the videos from this channel, but unfortunately, I have to disagree with this one. The central thrust of this video is "Jesus isn't coming back because the world is not ready for Him." However, that overlooks a MAJOR issue: the world will _never_ be ready for His return. Jesus Himself said that He would be coming like a thief in the night; it will be at a day and time when nobody will expect (see Matthew 24:36, 44; Luke 17:26-30). So to say that the world will one day be ready for His coming is unbiblical. The video further says that Jesus would not be coming back because if He did, He would have to establish His kingdom by force. However, that is _precisely_ what the Bible says will happen: when Jesus returns, it will be with an _army_ of angels to vanquish the forces of Antichrist. (Revelation 19:11-21) Lastly, we are not to forget that ultimately, the kingdom on _earth_ will only last for a thousand years, after which there will be one last rebellion, final judgments, and the eternal state (Revelation 20-21). Granted, it **is** true that many a person _says_ "Why aren't You here yet?" but _means_ "Why haven't you vindicated me yet"? or "Why haven't you ended this world's evils yet?" But that doesn't mean that Jesus is waiting for humanity to be ready for Him to come. Humanity as a whole never will be. Instead, we each have to be ready for the coming of Christ. He will rapture His own to be with him (I Thessalonians 4:15-18), and after the tribulation, He will reign on this earth for a thousand years (Revelation 20), after which there will be a new heavens and a new earth (Revelation 21). So everyone should prepare to meet their God, whether by death or rapture, lest it be in judgment.

It can't. He literally called the idea of Christ returning on a white horse with a sword to judge the nations (an image directly from Revelation) an "apocalyptic fantasy" born of pride. He sees the idea of Christ judging the nations as deplorable. He would have to completely empty Revelation of any serious meaning to justify such a position. He also ignores the promises of a real political messianic kingdom to Israel. The Jews were confused because they had prophecies of both a Suffering Servant and a Ruling King, and they didn't understand how one person could ever fulfill both because they didn't expect the Messiah to be Eternal God Himself. Christ fulfilled the Suffering Servant prophecies the first coming, but there remain a whole host of promises to the literal nation of Israel that they will have a time of perfect and just rule by King Messiah. All the "rod of iron" prophecies go unfulfilled if the world just "get's good enough" so Christ doesn't have to act as King and Judge on His second coming. If it's possible for us to bring in a Utopian Heaven on Earth for Jesus to return to, then there's no point for Him to return at all and the majority of Revelation becomes nonsense. This was a pious emotion-based appeal, but it doesn't sit with scripture at all.

The whole thing of pridefully pointing the finger and saying “haha, I was right all along” never even crossed my mind. I’ve always, always thought of it as; when Jesus descends from heaven we will be In sheer panic if we will get chosen to meet him in the sky and if we don’t get chosen how sad it is and hopefully once the rapture takes them then they’ll be repentant and will be allowed to ascend. It’s always been this awe jaw dropping thing but mostly filled with anxious anticipation for those that I love. The Answer is VERY VERY simple. Please Read JOHN Chapter 14 verses 2 and 3 :- "In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to Prepare a place for you. And if I go and Prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." So that is why Jesus hasn't returned yet. He's been very busy preparing a place for his people. I hope this answers all the speculations and questions that Theological circles and Religious Sects have tried to answer. Have a good day everyone.

My brother...I am surprised that someone who knows the Bible so well and is such a passionate defender of the truth would posit so thoroughly an *unbiblical* response to this question. The Bible's answer is more or less summed up in I Peter 3:9-10; there is more Biblical material that also merits consideration, but your answer has _nothing_ to do with the Bible. Prior to our glorification, we will _never_ be "saints worthy to inherit the Earth." Never. Where are you even getting that idea from? Christ's return will take place precisely at the moment that God has preordained, and that has nothing to do with "our readiness". On the contrary, Christ Himself confirmed (Matt 24) that in the end times, "many will be mislead" and "the love of many will grow cold". The picture the Bible paints of the status of humanity just prior to His return is progressively bleaker, not progressively Godlier (2 Thess 2:1-3, 2 Tim 3:1-5). Jesus actually asserted (Matt 24:22-24) that God will cut the Tribulation short precisely because otherwise, _even the elect would not survive!_ This is *NOT* the Christian utopia you seem to fantasize about in this video. I am also thoroughly befuddled as to your misleading claim that Christ will "not need armies" when Rev 19:14 says that at the final battle, Christ will be accompanied by the armies of Heaven. No, He does not *need* them, but He is clearly going to utilize them. There is certainly some commendable material in your video that is worth reflecting on and is useful in challenging/encouraging Christians-but your claim that Christ will return only when He has sufficiently established the Kingdom of God on Earth _through us_ is false and unbiblical. Please consider revising this.

I think the great commission is a pretty clear biblical example of this 16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Jesus did return in destruction of Israel and the temple to end the old covenant 40 years/ 1 generation after Jesus died on the cross. Jesus is coming again with God at the last day, Heaven and earth will pass away and THAT is the day and hour knoweth no man, angels, or even Jesus.

This is basically Postmillenialism, but based only on the Gospels and ignoring the rest of the Bible. Jesus is no longer the suffering servant, but seated at the right hand of the Father where he rules with all authority, slowly crushing his enemies beneath his feet. As Christians in a hostile world we are called to follow the example of Christ on Earth, but this is not the same as saying that Christ is currently as he was on Earth. He is on the throne, that is clear in Scripture. And whilst it's true that Christ calls us to love our enemies and pray for them, there are also verses like Revelation 6:10 - "They cried out with a loud voice, 'O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?'", not to mention the impreccatory Psalms. I can't help but wonder what Christians outside the comfortable West, facing imprisonment, beating, and beheading, think about the longing to see God's enemies judged.

Puts it in perspective how we can be selfish just wanting Christ to return for our benefit, rather than putting our concern on the lost and the consequences of those who reject Him if He was to return right now

Wake! The Lord Jesus has already come back 31 years ago and has been speaking His words of truth and judgment all this time! But the whole religious world also known as Babylon the great denies rejects resists condemn and blasphemes against the real return of Christ. But I and millions others all over the world in every country has red and heard the voice of God in the hundreds of videos. To learn all about it Google the church of Almighty God videos. But search with fear and reverence of God because your reaction will determine your future destination.

Hi IP, I'm your viewer since 2018 I think. I love your work and despite becoming an atheist along the way, I still watch your videos and listen to your debates because of how smart and reasonable you are. Is there perhaps a designated post or other place to suggest a video topic? For me it would be a) "why would anyone want to believe in God" and b) "which Christian denomination is true".

So, I want to ask if I may, what exactly has made you an atheist?
@tomasz3122
@tomasz3122 Жыл бұрын
@@imrukiitoaoffire1908 There are many factors, but I think there was a decisive one. At one point in my life I was struggling with a problem which despite my best efforts would require a miracle to be resolved. I can elaborate on what it was, although it's not relevant to the story. But basically I really tried to get in contact with God. You know, both Bible and peoples' testimonies say God is a real thing and he has talked to numerous people and intervened in their lives (for better or worse). But in my case, no matter how much I repented, prayed and tried to resolve the problem myself, God just didn't care. At one point I stopped praying for help, I started praying to have him give me a sign that he's at least listening, a sign that is beyond things easily interpreted as coincidences - after all, he has shown himself, talked to and helped many people who can testify that. But in my case nothing ever happened, it was like talking to an imaginary friend. I entered a vicious cycle of constantly blaming myself for doing something that keeps God from acknowledging me. It was terrible and after around 2 years I realized God will remain mute regardless of what I do - meaning he either doesn't exist or hates me, which in the end makes no difference.

Something absolutely no on covers is the fact that there many people within the church that are horrified by all this Jesus coming back. I for one believe in God but do not and have never felt I want an eternity at all. It horrifies me, especially being that I have no choice, absolutely everything is imposed to us by God and well if you don't submit to his "love" then you surely will go to hell for eternity. So you are doomed if you do or if you don't. Also why must we submit to all the whims of God just because he is God, this seems so awful to me as absolutely no one asked to be born. It's so unfair. We truly have no choice over anything. But no one can see this. Well atheists can. Also Jesus does not and has not healed all, just look at all the afflicted who die horrific and agonizing deaths. Also, as much as people do evil things, I do not find it gratifying of a God to come back in wrath and unmerciful, and why send anyone to hell if they are simply making this choice out of what I e been saying, not having a fair choice, what if we dont want to be saints but neither be in hell? You see we are stuck, it is by force that is hidden in the word love. There is nothing loving in a leader/God imposing, coercing his way in all or else sending you to hell. I mean If he is truly God, he must have known I myself Wish I never existed, the agony of knowing I have no damn choice, if I dont side with God then I will go to hell, when all this could have been avoided by not bringing me into existence. And I have never felt or seen his crusification if it happened as an act of love, because God set it all up himself. He created the backstory, the whole thing and plus we didn't sin, it was Adam and Eve so makes no sense. I am just so bitter and conflicted that because of a capricious God, I am here. I do not care for his plan, I do not even want it. I fear this awful being most of the time.

But I don’t care about the punishment of my enemies. I just want my spirit to be have eternal peace and everyone else to have eternal peace as well. No more judgement and no more people taking liberties that were never there’s to take
