Cheng Ho, a Muslim and also the right hand of emperor Yongle of the Ming dynasty has promoted the Islam and Buddhism in south east Asia in his 7 maritime journeys to the western sea, forging a strong bond between China and Malaysia.

There are plenty of museums in Melaka at bukit China and the most important are the cultural museum of ethnology and the museum of Cheng Ho. Not only museums but also ancient buildings from the era of the Portugese, the Dutch and the British are situated there. Great many people from around the world have visited these museums and they all find them very informative.

I mean, most of our PM's are not fully Malay to begin with. To be honest, I doubt you'd find a 100% full Malay person in Malaysia nowadays. Tunku Abdul Rahman is half-Thai. Abdul Razak is Bugis. Hussein Onn is a mixture of Malay and Circassian. Mahathir is half-Indian. Abdullah Badawi is a mix of Hadrami Arab and Chinese. I doubt Muhiyiddin, Anwar and Ismail Sabri are fully Malay either.
