Why are you shopping from Adorama!?!? That's where all the big time movie people shop in downtown NYC (and film students too). I'm not necessarily an advocate for shopping on Amazon, but you can find decent external mics there for less than 50 USD. Meanwhile for the price on Adorama you could get a whole new vlogging camera.

Thanks for the video. I once worked in the DR Congo as a civilian staff with the UN peacekeeping Mission. I once stayed in Kinshasa for seven days. It was magical. I mean I was shocked with the level of comfort I had staying in the ordinary part of town. The Congolese are hooked to our Nollywood and music.Even when they couldn't follow the language they still flocked around their TVs and were able to relate the stories of the movies to me.That is telepathic. They respect Nigerians very much for our work ethics and intelligence, I didn't take tht for granted at all. Thanks.

Another interesting episode, like the one Nigerian you interviewed in his shop said obtaining visa to enable you travel through the continent is not necessary, I rightly second that reasoning, but then let's look at it from another perspective not all African economies are the same in size, there are a lot of issues that needed to be addressed, for instance talking about the inequalities in the economies, some countries in the motherland tend to be extremely attractive whilst others are not, there must be some mechanism by the AU to be tracking the influx of people, which parts of the continent needs the different types of labor force so that over influx people in certain areas doesn't lead to tension and over stretching of that local economy

Why do they lack a Nigerian outlook? Africans are trying to create and nurture an African identity. But the Igbos commenting here and elsewhere are not even concerned about nurturing a Nigerian identity. It is their "Igboness" that they strive to push forward. Dear Igbos, I love you all. I think we all do. Your creative aggression is a plus for Africa if well channelled. But we are trying to nurture an African identity. So bring onto the African platform, your Nigerian identity. @@SpiderDike-kb8dh No, I am not a Nigerian, not even a West African. I am aware of some historical aspects of Igbos within the Nigerian context. So there is some fire burning threatening to cause more disunity in Africa. Would you want to be the generation to be remembered for putting out the fire or do you want to be remembered for adding more fuel to the fire? How do we hope to build a more united whole from a more fragmented Africa? An Africa we are busy fragmenting ourselves? How will Nigeria be taken seriously when it comes to the table of Panafricanism but as a divided quarrelling unit? What is it about Igbos in Nigeria that is beyond resolution? Colonisers did not draw up any boundary in Africa while taking into account the prevailing conditions on the ground. The boundaries were arbitrarily created only to serve the interests of the colonial powers. But then, they went away, more than 60 years ago. What are we doing to develop an Afrocentric view of things?

@@oceejekwam6829 I wonder where you get that information from! Nigeria earns between $20 and $27 billion from oil and gas alone. In terms of potential Nigeria has a lot of minerals too. I think as Africans this focus on minerals has not helped in any way. In terms of earnings or the size of her economy, DRC is nowhere close to countries like Ethiopia, Kenya, or Tanzania. Nigeria is by far Africa's largest economy.
