i kinda want anze kopitar to maybe get a hart trophy cause he's keeping his team in it when they weren't expected to do as good as they have. Ofc no one was beating jonathan quick to the conn smythe in 2012 and ofc the conn smythe to williams was well earned in 2104 but i think kopi easily could've had it as well

The problem with this is that he had a overall a great team around him compared to the likes of Price and Hasek when they won the Hart who had sub standard teams around them which led to those two to carry them hard. When Price won the Hart: The highest scoring guy is Pacioretty with 67 pts. When Hasek won The Hart is 98: The Highest scoring guy is Satan with..... 46 pts. Hellebuyck has Kyle Connor with 50 pts right now which is already higher than Satan did but Connor did it in 39 games compared to Satan's 79 games. Price and Hasek had to carry their teams on their backs or else it's no playoffs compared to Hellebuyck who doesn't even have to do the heavy carrying ALL THE TIME. If Hellebuyck was on Detroit and was carrying the team on his back and they make the playoffs then hell yes he deserves it.

Nah. Theres a Vezina for best goalie. Drai, Mackinnon and Kuch all deserve it and are due. In fact, we really ought to go back and take that Hart from Hall and give it to Mackinnon. And if there is any validity in giving it to a goalie, said goalie had better start at least 65+ games.

Laine is , habs were dead last , Laine enters the line up and 4 weeks later they are 3 points out of a playoff spot. Can we just talk about how with Dahlin Buffalo are a team for the playoffs and without they are the worst team in the league.
