Now THIS is a Ted Talk not only worth watching but worth sharing. We could all learn a thing or two from this. I hope to see more talks like this one from your channel. Good job!

Thank god for people who consider what the implications of massively imbalanced areas of contemporary art & culture are!

This was a good talk. I disagree with some of the things she said concerning feminism being allowed to entertain mysogyinistic ideas and expressions only because I have what's maybe an unusual sense of what exaggeration can make okay if it's understood as exaggeration. But nevertheless I'm glad I stuck around. I do wonder how many other people ever have face to face conversations about these types of things though.

To date, I've yet to hear any intersectional "theorists" explain to me how peace will be created by encouraging everyone to be hyper-focused on the divisions between identity groups. If race and gender are simply social constructs used to dehumanize people in order to justify their oppression, why do you good insist on not only maintaining them, but making them the focus of all philosophy, art, and politics?

I feel the same way. I think the goals are to problematize and dismantle, but not to fix and build.

"Hip hop feminism." This has got to be the most first world of first world issues. TEDx is no longer fit for purpose.
