I think if a person can read, write and comprehend well. They can do their paperwork by themselves. Most times the attorneys charge A lot. I did my citizenship on my own and everything went well. Attorneys were charging over 2600. I got everything so fast. Most time people think that they can't. But sometimes it just takes time and patience. If its something that is complicated then hire an attorney and get it right. Always read, research and understand what you are doing. And if you dont understand. Then get an attorney.

@@zulemag8191 USCIS is good for the fact that they provide line for line instructions on how to fill out all the necessary forms and provide addresses for designated processing centers AND you can now file online. Great video Stephanie outlining the importance of having legal representation when dealing with immigration. I would not even want to deal with such a complex system without an immigration attorney. I can personally say through experience and having traveled down the immigration path for the second time now, the importance of having good legal representation. Now more than ever in these uncertain times it is especially important to hire an attorney. You definitely have proven to me that you are an expert in your field. I also think that people think that when looking for an attorney that they have to chose one on their doorstep, which is not the case. Thank you for doing this video and explaining just what sets your profession apart from other immigration services that are not licensed to practice immigration law in their state. It’s so very important to know the difference when making a decision on who to use, something that can have a huge affect on successfully completing a process that can impact yours and your families lives.

Well said! Being barred in any state took years of hard work, dedication, and money! It is not something easily done. Although many individuals have graduated successfully from law school, lawyers do not have licenses to put on the line, therefore, attorneys make sure to be as precise and accurate in their work to protect that license that took so long to achieve. Keep up the excellent work!

You make subtle hints that an attorney would have some kind of inside track to getting a hold of people at USCIS or Embassy. This is exactly why people don't like lawyers (attorneys). Dishonest and in your case, manipulative to YOUR benefit. And yes, I'm a retired attorney.

I believe that having an attorney with a help of paralegal is important. We are already scrutinized by system. Any Legal team with good reputation and thoroughness can make a huge difference in preventing receiving RFEs that can further delay my case. It is mentally exhausting but when a good team behind you tells you that u have a great case, it makes me feel better while waiting for the results. Also I have already an attorney ready to go if there is any issue in USCIS.

For example, the top immigration attorneys in the city of Orlando / Florida not only do nothing to help their clients, but openly act against clients and deliberately deceive them in order to lose the client's case in court. Florida Bar give no help to people who was deceived by such "american immigration lawyer". Do not hope for any justice in the US courts or in connection with the US legal system! Thus, by contacting "American immigration attorneys" you can lose not only a huge amount of money but also your entire destiny and possibly your life. If there are any international organizations or courageous journalists who can bring the truth about the US legal system that would be great.
