Jaden Smith stole the hearts of moviegoers when he gave a moving performance alongside his dad Will Smith in "The Pursuit of Happyness." He even backed up his acting credentials by proving he was not a one-hit-wonder when he starred in the reboot of "The Karate Kid."
Jaden has also proven that he can hold his own and come out of the shadow of his more famous parents. However, lately, the young actor has been part of projects that have been box-office poison and has been making some questionable career choices.

@Da Ca After Earth was bad, but if he kept acting in movies instead of pursuing other things he would've been a successful actor by now. Having one bad movie doesn't make you a bad actor, Will Smith was also in that movie and other actors that are now bigger than ever have had their fair share of bad movies. Karate kid was great, the pursuit of happiness was great and he has charisma from what I've seen in interviews. People just bash him because he is eccentric and does whatever he wants which isn't a bad thing.
