WHY HOMEMAKING IS HARD? FIND JOY IN HOMEMAKING
In this video you I will talk about why homemaking is hard and how I find joy in homemaking. There are days when it's harder to get things done and there are days that are more productive. But what makes it hard to get done the chores everyday?

Dear Noemi, I am only 4 minutes in, but I have to thank you for explaining the deeper reasons for homemaking. You are such a gift to us! I especially appreciate the uplifting spirit today. I am caring for my mother in her last days. She brought me into this world and it’s such an honor to support her as she transitions to the next. All of the tiny moments of life have meaning and joy when we are in the right frame of mind. Hugs to you! ❤

The answer in home making is definitely finding the "joy" in it....as a kid cleaning her room, the radio had to be on!!!...good music is a must to keep my motivation and focus going(and joy)....but most of all, as an adult, home making is about making it a priority!!....I also want a clean and safe respite from the world, nothing says chaos quite like a filthy, messy, unorganized home....just sayin'.....

"Creating a place for life to happen." Well said! Homemaking is making a strong return. With our geopolitical situation - which I will not go into details 😅 - is waking people up to a more grassroots movement. Creating memories for my children in a home with balance, love, fun and good smells of fresh baked goods is timeless. Smells always bring you back to strong memories. 🌼

I have been married for 13 years. We are both 31 years old but it took me 10 years of our marriage to understand that being a homemaker is something i choose and something that god had helped guide me with. My husband works to provide for us as a soon to be family of 5 but his hard work is what makes me proud to be his wife and be a homemaker. We understand there is sacrifices and there is also love in understand what we both bring for our family. I enjoy cleaning and cooking for my family, their comments about how good my food taste and how much i enjoy making my husband work lunch. Its life and its how we appreciate each other.

Homemaking is hard. With homemaking you literally live at work and so the work to do is always in your face. As a mom of six I constantly have to dig deep and remember the reasons I chose this. It is a life of servitude! Your videos always help me so much to spark life back into homemaking, Noemi. I love your encouragement and gentle spirit. This video is one I needed this week. Something else that helps me and took me at least 10 years to learn, is to force myself to rest-despite feeling like I didn't get everything done I wanted. It's hard to rest "at work" but it actually increases productivity!

Noemi I am a long time fan but have not commented before. These past two videos have really hit me in the heart. To hear your feelings about your boys going to school, and then your thoughts on what motivates you to do all these creative things - I really appreciate hearing your heart so loud and clear. You certainly have hinted at it for your many videos, but you tend to focus on the how and less on the why. I am so grateful for your videos! They inspire me every day to do projects for my family and my home. Thank you for working so hard all these years to not only be an awesome Noemi, but also for sharing your stories with us. It means a lot. PS - I have purchased quite a few things that you recommend and they are always wonderful! Thanks for the reminder to pull out my window cleaning kit!

Homemakers make the house not just a home but a sanctuary that gives birth to many memories that last a lifetime. It takes a lot of sacrifices and effort, and sometimes it gets so sad and painful to hear from other people, especially from another woman, that a housewife is nothing but dependent on her husband for financial support.

I’m a homemaker and I like to think of it like this: if I ever went “on strike”, imagine all the paid positions that would have to be filled to take my place. Chef, personal shopper, event coordinator, house cleaner, tutor, counselor, etc! Therefore, yes, we may depend on our husbands financially, but in a way they depend on us financially too! Who has money to hire all those people? It’s a source of pride and joy to wear all those hats for the people I love!

For several years now I have watched so many videos about minimalism, fly lady, cleaning your house, zero waste living, one pot cooking, decluttering, sparking joy, finding peace, organization, wash and go styling, DYI everything, etc…I start every morning in my kitchen trying to clean, organize and Kondo my space and every day I have to start all over again. It’s freaking Groundhog Day over here. I still, years later, haven’t been able to get beyond my kitchen no matter how much time I have. I just don’t know how anyone can live in such a beautifully clean space without losing their sanity from doing all the work and repetition that goes into keeping it that way. I think that’s why I’ve been watching all of these Videos about people living out of their cars intentionally. Is that what I need? Do I need a disaster to relieve me of all my stuff so I can then move into a van? But then I see the extremely cluttered vans that these people are living in and it just gives me such anxiety. If I had the money I would live in a hotel room and have daily maid service and eat out everyday. That would be the ideal home for me

I remember watching first time a video from Noemi. I was waiting for the moment when she picks up her bag to go to work and it never happened. That was the moment when I recognized that she is staying at home and that her life is different to mine. I worked 40 hours in a week and had a child (5 years old). That was about three years ago. I still love watching Noemi, get inputs but I said goodbye to perfection for myself. I try my best but I also love to chill out and have quality time with friends and family. So, my house is sometimes a mess and food is mostly self made but once a week it’s time for something fast and easy 😉

Im a career woman. Props to you homemaker types. I have to deal with long commutes to the office, working with difficult colleagues, stressful deadlines and constant computer work. But I love the independence my money gives me. I travel, look 28 at 38, have a stylish home and im always going to restaurants with my lovely friends. Pros and cons on both sides. Sadly I don't believe in marriage because I was hit on by countless married men in my 20s so I just don't trust men enough to let them control my life. Do you ladies know where your husbands are right now?

As always, you don’t disappoint with your content! My mother was my role model for a clean and INVITING home where it always smelled fresh and you could sit anywhere in the house without worrying if you are messing up the formal living room (I preferred the formal living room because there was no tv and I loved to read in the quietness of that room, as did my mother) or digging into the fridge. Like mom, I keep a clean home, prep meals ahead of time and maintain the laundry, folding it as soon as it comes out of the dryer or when it is dry on the drying rack, and all this as a full time Respiratory Therapist- and yes, we are empty nesters, but this routine of homemaking actually made it easier when the children were still at home because the weekends weren’t only about doing a hurry up and clean so we can enjoy it. By keeping up with my homemaking (and all of us in the family participated) daily, the weekends were truly for enjoying m.

Noemi, I just love that you were so true to yourself and you show us the imperfections and the joy that you have. I was laughing so hard watching you clean those windows and it was because the same thing happened to me! Also I wondered if you’ve ever heard of cabbage roll soup? It’s very similar to what you made, but it’s made in soup form so you have all the flavors of it but not a lot of chewing. I was just thinking about that for your oldest son. Now that I’ve watched your video to start my day I’m ready to go tackle some house cleaning of my own. I hope you have a wonderful weekend and thank you for all that you do. Take care!

I love it when you giggle during narration. It makes your story more relatable, natural and original. I struggle with maintaining our house clean. We are very active inside and outside the house and my housrmates (hubby and three kids) dont mind if the house is messy.. So they leave things everywhere or dont clean up regularly. My kids arent the worst though, they still clean up but not as thorough as I do.. My husband rather has zero talent in cleaning and tidying up. He is a great husband and father though.
