My kids were in school during the younger years but I took them out during elementary years. So I don’t believe no damage was done at all. They are good kids and it’s impressive to see them learn even on their own. And it makes me sad when they do their work and say momma I don’t need help. I got this. I be sad and proud at same time.

I’ve also wonder what my children are being taught what agenda and curriculum are they teaching them… now everything is literally different from when I went to school!! Everything is online…. I don’t even have a high school diplomia. And I’m teaching my kids fractions. Something I struggled with in school. It is hard because I work nights but they aren’t young. They are 11 and 12 and the 11 year old gets up and does her work and helps her brother. So when I wake up they have little with me to do. Certain things I teach and certain things they learn on their own.

What if you only have one child? “They play for hours” is not our reality. He wants us to play for hours. That’s a struggle for us. What am I missing? 😢

Would my child only get used to being with me as adult when Homeschooling? Would he feel anxitety when other adults correct them because he is only used to being with me?
