They prefer easier prey. HOWEVER, if they are hungry enough they will kill a HoneyBadger for food. The video said lions fear Honey badgers. They don't. Even solitary lionesses have killed Badgers. Not easily but they have. Look up the videos on KZbin. Easy enough to do.

What you don’t seem to understand is the bigger animal CAN easily kill an animal like a honey badger…. The issue is their mental state. Bigger animals fear them because the badgers don’t fear anything…. They win most of the time because the bigger animals are fearful and make mistakes and aren’t used to something standing up to it like a small badger. WAY more instances of smaller badgers fucking up much larger animals than the reverse…. Thanks for sharing this ONE really cool story though.
