Why Honey Doesn't Spoil

Do you know that Honey doesn't have an expiration date? If it is stored properly, it can last for centuries.
Archaeologists have even found pots of honey in ancient Egyptian tombs that are thousands of years old and still edible.
Actually Honey is low in water and high in sugar, which makes it hard for the bacteria to grow on it. Honey is also thick, which prevents oxygen from easily penetrating it. These amazing qualities of honey make it last for very long time.
