I'm looking at retiring next year and moving to HSV as fast as I can get there. I spent a weekend going around with a realtor in 2013 and it was fabulous.

@@HotSpringsVillageInsideOut It's a great place. I would research who my neighbors are though. I'm lucky where all our neighbors are relaxed, but I've heard some areas have bored retirees who complain about everything and love to sic compliance on people.

Perhaps you're right but what gives Bella Vista the edge isn't it's individuality but the other cities around it that make overall the better spot to be at. NWA really is the place to be or move too if you're coming from out of state, more opportunities, jobs and things to do.

Bella Vista's 71 Interstate has a new by pass therefore a massive reduction of traffic. Now very easy access to Bentonville, Rogers and Fayetteville and their several ammendies. Northwest Arkansas is a hotbed for growth and culture. Just saying

I lived in Bella Vista 2002 thru 2004 and I have lived in HSV since Jan 2016. The differences are striking. Bella Vista did not have a community sewer system. All the developed properties had on site septic systems. Because of this, they started noticing a high level of contaminants and algae in a couple of the more developed lakes. When we moved to Bella Vista there was a movement growing in popularity to become an incorporated community. This was being heavily discussed at board meetings. Our neighbor was a board member and told us some of the board sessions were so heated and loud they made the doors bulge. You should try to interview John Cooper III on your podcast. He may be more amenable to it than you think. I have met him and he is a very nice guy. Anyway... regards from a new member and thank you for your great podcast.
