A confluence of things! (1) Stop Strategy hopping. Honing/sharpening YOUR OWN strategy matters a lot to your own personality... (2) Learning how to grow your leverage over time, doubling down sometimes, knowing when to adjust or reduce your position size based on your account size (Money Mgt). It clicked for me simply when I learned put options. I was much better at calling tops than calling bottoms, and I was sick of buying things that looked like they've bottomed, only for them to suddenly drop further. I am much better at buying options at the right time when a stock gets to a ridiculous price.
