Well that certainly explains why I constantly have neck and upper back pain among other things.

Our muscles are trying to hold us together... the ligaments and tendons arent doing the work and the spine loses the battle. Neck pain my whole life, felt it as a little kid. Ehlers-Danlos sucks

WOW. makes so much sense. I didnt even know the finger thing was another indicator.... i have several joints that are to varying degress but my right shoulder is particularly bad and i only figured this out recently... I'm discovering that up until now I have been doing things that have been apparently making things WORSE so im so lost and devastated.... 😭

I've just been told I'm hypermobile - all my aches and pains are starting to make sense!

I did not find anyone in my area thats experienced with this. Hyper mobility is my favourite weakness, but it comes with a lot of work to be painfree

28 years old and all my doctors have ever done is made me worse... sad that I've had to give up on the medical industry. KZbin and channels like this have basically been the only way to protect myself. Then doctors get offended when I'm like actually id rather do this. "Well I didn't just graduate for no reason" or "ive been in medicine sense before you were born i know more than you"

Ita crazy how much we have to advocate for self and are met with so much resistance
@yourlocalnormy3596Ай бұрын
@@CultivatingJoyWithin a lot of "so you heard it on the internet? Well I actually went to school, did they?". Like okay, and you haven't even tested me for anything. Just really sad and frustrating overall 😪

Was the bend in her neck not normal? Mine easily goes like that…. What’s a normal range?
@bodyworkdojo Жыл бұрын
Hypermobile doesn't mean abnormal, it just means a lot of range. So you're cool. But if someone with a lot of range has pain, its not likely due to "tightness." : )
