I am a Filipino working as an ESL teacher in Thailand. The cost of food is lower here than in the Philippines, but Durian is more expensive in Thailand, especially compared to Mindanao or Davao. My biggest challenge in Thailand is difficulty communicating due to the language barrier, which makes it hard to make friends or talk to neighbors.

hello, i begin to watch your vlog, i am frank from davao city, i fully understood what you are saying about people, food etc, i agree with you filipino and russian are not really similar in many ways, we are in born to be nice people across the globe but still there is no perfect, its just minimal negative side specially of being polite to everyone in which not really posses by russian, ive been watching vlogs from Russian Village and i observed they minggle each other but in times of helping needs of other its not there things, conflict inside the village happened.

I see a lot of comments here recommending "refugee" status, why? Russia is in a conflict but it is in no means ravaged like Gaza. An overwhelming majority of Russians are living day to day like normal citizens, the conflicted areas are mostly Ukrainian and not Russia so if he is Ukrainian, Refugee status is more appropriate.

I can tell that you really are not reading much about the situation there. The people who were conscripted were people who used to work for the military and resigned or was downgraded to reserves status. If he is Ukrainian, then that is the time to be worried about getting conscripted. Because they are losing a lot of men to the point of them having to force regular citizen without Military training to join the front line.
