Yes my the 07-12 cbr600rr. All black. Had it for almost 4 years and was a daily commuter (second bike, real big bike compared to my previous low cc ones cos i was learning) i bought that bike when i was 19 years old!! It never let me down, and being young i did thrash it a bit (well a lot) and it never missed a beat! A zx6r, z1000 and a r6 later, now im 27, i was 23(?) When i totaled that bike? Bought a full system exhaust, air filter, MooreMafia ECU flash night and day difference, I'd like to think I would one day pass it down to one of my daughters. I love banging through the gears on that thing, my next bike is either going to be a zx6r or gsxr 750 leaning towards the 750. More power for about the same price plus less electronics. I can totally relate to this vid. That being said, considering the milage, hours of labor and parts I would have to put in that bike to refresh all those 6 year old parts, I probably would've offered you 6500-7000 as well. I don't think they were trying to low ball you tbh. They're actually selling out by me for 9k with less than 500 miles. I'm sure you're gonna sell it tho considering how well you take care of it. The comment about you gaining 2 to 3 seconds on your lap time based on your faster speeds on a 1k is kinda off a bit. Here’s the deal. What you gain in some extra mph, you then loose because guess what . . . You go to the brakes sooner and for more time. So basically then you just lost the time you gained and it ends up being a wash. On the street, 1k is obviously faster but on the track, it really does come down to the riders skills. I’ve seen those damn 400’s give big bikes trouble when it comes to lap times. Keep the 750 and get that baby flashes like another said. If you have a good place do it, on the dyno tuning is better always to the bike, it’ll turn out pretty awesome! Mine was night and day different and I can’t imagine going back! 2012 Gsxr 750. Their just bulletproof!

I have the 2018 gsxr 1000r. I've been very happy with it. It's a very special engine. Makes so much power after 5K compared to a typical sport bike. Suzuki nailed that VVT. Having given my opinion of a similar machine I would confidently say your not missing out. Unless the extra top end and low mileage is worth 10 grand to you. I know you take care of your bike. 33k is nothing to a properly maintained gsxr. When I got rid of my K5. (major regret). It had around 55k on it and still ran well. I rebuilt the water pump and a bunch of upgrades. They can last with proper care. The newer gsxr is a pretty comfortable sport bike all things considered. I absolutely love it. The one thing I can say about gsxr's is there pretty well made and I tend to appreciate them more over time. I'm 45 now and have had one since I was 19. Your new color scheme is really good looking. That awesome machine will be there for you for many years to come.

I've had a similar experience but instead with my Harley Sportster. Funny enough I never thought I'd enjoy a cruiser so much and I originally got the bike just to flip it, but I ended up modifying it a ton and really learning lots about the bike. I grew to love it and to love what I did to it to really make it mine. Recently I was thinking about selling it and I posted it for sale. Just like you, I posted it a little higher priced than what the going value was. Needless to say, no one was willing to take it for that price and I decided I really didn't want to get rid of it! I know the feeling of having a bike you love and not wanting to get rid of it, but at the same time wanting another bike! I want to get myself a supermoto right now, but I find I just can't sell the harley at this point. I have too much of an emotional attachment. I'll probably end up selling my ZX-10R and getting a supermoto in place of that cause frankly I have less of an attachment to that bike. Pretty funny cause I never thought I'd like a harley better than a sportbike, but my point is you can get attached to any bike and then it is hard to sell it!

Had both at the same time. '18 750 & '18 1000R with the balance free fork, etc. I could have kept both, but sold the 1000R. Both are great bikes, but the 750 really hits the perfect balance of power, handling, etc. The power of the VVT was great, but more vibes too without the cb shaft. Only thing IMO that I "miss" from the 1000 was the low end torque. Not the electronics, tc, auto blipper, ride by wire throttle, etc. The 750 is the one bike I have, that I say I'll never let go of. Analog bikes are a dying breed in a world of digital bikes with tougher, and tougher emissions to meet that make it increasingly hard for manufactures to tune to run properly from the factory. If anything, buy a K5 or K6 1000 and keep the 750.

Oh Hell no! I sold my 1000cc specifically for my GSXR750 which I consider to be last in the line of old school motorbikes that goes back to the superbike heydays of the late 80’s and the decade of the 90’s. I decided that a bike that had not been updated or radically changed in 7 years of production was as reliable as one can get… the power of 150 brake horsepower is perfect for my roads and I wanted no rider aids, just me, the throttle and the brakes. My 1000 cc made my favourite twisty road boring I literally could do the whole road from 30mph to 140mph using only two gears it was like riding an automatic. It had sensors everywhere for everything and each had the potential to set off the engine management light. It’s colossal power needed every single sensor to detect when it wanted to spit me off it… Full of useless tech… I don’t need rider modes… wet/dry/race/tour to fudge the throttle response … that’s what God gave me a wrist for!

Tell me about it dude! I got my bike BRAND NEW in 2016 for $10,500 OTD and now they are like $14-15k OTD for the exact same models! And people are selling 2007-2008's for like $7k it's just gotten insane. Figure I'll keep it until it's worth at least $20k lmaooo

Despite the the crap Suzuki gets, they make pretty good bikes. It’s YOUR bike do what makes you happy. If you can keep the 750 and get the 1000 that’s what I would do. Track bike solved. Lol

Should’ve took the money an ran. Or at least got a newer 750 at the least. Your bike is too personalized an tbh not worth more than 6-7K with oem farings at best.
