Hey Steve, This is your old college friend "Chris Richardson". Whenever you're feeling down, I hope you can remember the times we had at CVC. The days of having almost no money. Do you remember how cold Crockett hall was because they wouldn't turn on the heat until it snowed. You've grown so much since those days. Even on the bad days, you've grown so much, and you're an inspiration to many of us who knew you since you were a teenager. I 'll always be in your corner as just seeing your success has had a real, tangible impact on my life. The last time we spoke was at GP Indianapolis, you gave me some personal advice that literally changed my life. After speaking with you, I picked up programming, got a job as a software engineer. I've had a decent career, and a very happy life. I don't think I would have had either of those if we hadn't chatted nearly 20 years ago. I'm sure there are many people who won't take time to write a message, but I hope you know that you have helped many, many people. I for one am in the line of people who's life you've helped so much. Thank you... -Chris

I came close to killing myself in class in front of people and what I don’t understand is how literally no one in that classroom saw me staring at this huge chef knife that I was holding in my hand and that I was just standing there staring at it? I had no one to talk to about how miserable I was back then because no one would even listen to me say hello to them without them constantly telling me “Shut up! No one cares!” every time I tried to say anything. At least you had someone that you could talk to and actually listen to you.

You still have a strong voice on youtube... which you can still use if you so wish. You have a lot of good opinions on stuff like the gaming industry but you care too much of what people say... especially people that dont matter, like those "critics" you mentioned and it can affect your critical view, which in turn can affect your views. It just becomes a vicious circle.

Did you even watch the video? He mentioned that in it...
@k9px4 жыл бұрын
@@gabagool8 yes i did watch his video. Just because he said it doesn't mean he believes it. Also you might wanna pay attention yourself before you call others out because he mentions at one point that he will use "what's left of" his voice... meaning he doesn't think it has the same sway. I guess some people find it hard reading between the lines or understanding the meaning behind the words... :/

Hi Boogie, I’ve been a fan for years. Love you and you have my support. December 2019 I almost took my life, after several months of deep depression. It’s the scariest thing I’ve ever been through. I got help, and over time have learned to love life again. Thank you for reaching out and telling your story. Keep your head up, love you, Boogie!

Your bounce back is coming and even if it doesn’t I’ll still be here till the end. Every mistake you make will be one I know you’ll learn from and I’ll support ya. As a fan who has been around for almost 10 years watching you I just wanted to say that I did stop watching for a while but not because of anything you did. I always watched because I have BPD along with other issues and I always felt isolated and alone no matter who I had around but with you I saw someone who was dealing with a lot of very similar things in their life and it made me feel a little less alone. I finally hit a point where between being ground down by depression and the addictions I had developed to self medicate where I was an inch away from ending it all. Luckily before doing anything on an impulse I decided to get help, unfortunately while I’ve been moving forward I stopped spending so much time online which means also not being on YT or twitch. I want you to know though that what made me keep holding on all those years until I got help was you, you are a wonderful person and there are people who love you. You do whatever you need to take care of yourself because there are a lot of people who would be much worse off for not knowing or watching you. We love you boogie

I’ve self harmed a lot. I have scars all over my body. Some have been very serious. I’ve cut through veins, to the bone. I suffer from very bad depression. I think about it almost daily. I estimate I’ve got about 90 scars on each leg and probably 60-some on my arms. But I always try and keep my head up. I’ve not got a very good support system but I’m trying to keep my mind from going to that place. We’ve all got to stay strong.

At the end of the day,life is about joy and enjoyment so just do what makes you happy and I'm pretty sure you'll not feel depressed. Also self harming is just stupid if u want to put your anger somewhere go to the gym or start boxing or sth.

It feels to me like everyone is walking around with an open wound. Everyone has something in their life giving them pain, and the quickest way they can deal with that is to blame someone. Put yourself out there as a face amidst the anonymous masses, and you invite that blame. I don't think it's malice that causes it, but the simple desire to do whatever it takes to ease the diffuculty in our lives. But putting yourself forward as a target amidst the annonymous masses takes far more courage than you admit, and I will always admire you for that. You stand as a lighthouse for those of us suffering through our daily lives, hoping above all else that we're simply not the only one doing so. You do far more good than anyone would admit just by living, Boogie. Thank you for that - for choosing to live. I've endured pain in my own life, and I make that selfsame choice. That is validation. We're on the right path, together.
