The recommended amount is 1/4 teaspoon. For tinted spf that can be excessive and look awful, so you might not applying enough
@lofigirl97rawrxd3 Жыл бұрын
This is not fully correct info. It doesnt matter what sunscreen youre wearing. If you arent applying enough of it, it wont do very much. Doesnt matter if it’s Nuetrogena or La Roch Poshe. Tinted or not. Just apply plenty of it whether its chemical,physical,tinted they all have positives and negatives. Physical sunscreen is great for those with sensitive skin. Sure iron oxides help,but wearing makeup over chemical sunscreen does the same trick also. Does not have to be tinted. Especially for pale and darker skin toned finding a tinted sunscreen that works on a budget is hard.

Tinted is still better which is her point. Of course you gotta use the right amount but it’s still better regardless

Honestly this would something new for me, you hear every single day don’t relay on your tinted spf or that tinted spf is like spf lie, not protecting your skin. But I would like to know more about it, why tinted is better please 😊.
@myname-gf7lt4 ай бұрын
not all sunscreens offer same protection, it is a fact and if you've worn sunscreens you'd know that tinted mineral spf give way better protection than chemical ones, saying from experience, so 1/4 tsp of many spf will not give same protection

Dr Dray said we need to put it on our eyelids too and the inner corner of the skin near the eye, where most of us put a highlight in the inner corner. I didn't think of putting it on my eyelid so I'm sharing with others.

The best protection will give us a product with higher UVA rating (PPD) and UVB. The advice focused on pigment alone does not seem to be a good one. Most foundations offer some SPF protection but we know they do not provide good coverage as the application amount required would make the face look strange. This is why the recommendation is to use SPF and then make up and not to use a foundation that has a superior amount of pigment as the main protection.

I came back for a comment I received positive comment, I can’t see the comment but thank you for your comment. I am using 43 tinted Spf Beekman 1802 which I loved it. I’m not a person who spend hours under the sun, but I apply part of the 1/4 spoon as soon as I wake up and the other during the day to have that protection. Is a recommendation, if I have to go out I would definitely opt for Bodysurf is moisturizing and matte when it dries, under my tinted Spf.

I don’t like tinted spf and not any yellow/oxidized foundation. They look horrible on the skin, on the day light. Choose the one who match your skin tone and don’t forget the décolletage, too.

There isn't an explanation of why we should wear tinted products. Why has it been "shown in studies to protect your skin even more" What is the specific reason? Your reason is very vague.
@myrkvdr2 ай бұрын
She didn't word it correctly. But she probably meant that "tinted" sunscreen, in this case, is a much better alternative to regular foundation due to how it helps even out your skin tone while providing the necessary protection against uv radiation.
