6:50 - On the topic of lookalikes, I've been reading the Riftwar Saga lately and there's a character, Prince Arutha, whose physical description kind of matches a bit of Richard Madden's description...but because of how he dresses I almost always revert to him looking like Josh Strife Hayes instead in my head and it won't go away. Kinda curious to see Josh do an analyzis of the old Pointer-Clicker "Find objects, use objetcs in certain way, progress story" type games. Broken Sword, even Monkey Island. Would love a "Was it good" of "Beneath a Steel Sky" as I did a replay not long ago and it has some interesting takes, both self ironic lines which might break immersion but that could still be seen as InGame level of awareness.

Apparently that game was huge in Europe (Mostly Hungary/Poland?) I did some reading years ago that I should refresh up on, because I've lost a lot of details, but apparently given the economies and markets of electronics in those countries, most games were pirated because they simply weren't published in those regions, or they rarely had language support. I've heard some great things about BaSS from a friend of mine that's getting me back into point/clicks. Remember Machinarium?

Worth noting about zero sugar stuff, at least from over here, your body still treats the fake sweeteners as sugar, even though that's not what they're supposed to be. So you can still technically gain or break even on weight with zero sugar drinks and have it negatively affect your health. For me I just do either straight fruit juice or cold turkey and drink water or coffee. I honestly don't miss sugar anymore, or anything sweet for that matter. I'll occasionally indulge if I feel like it every now and again, but for the most part I do without. (Even greater given that I'm an American and we put corn syrup in everything, yay subsidizing crops and diabetic outbreaks!)

Sugar...I had acne all my life. Got put on antibiotics for it and took it from ages 27 to 35 on and off. It was the only thing that got rid of the acne. Then I switched to pau d'arco cause I heard its not good to be on antibiotics for so long. It helped but was not as good...some acne was showing up. Then I quit sugar and my acne went away COMPLETELY. Quit pau d'arco for a month and still 0 acne without sugar. It's just wild to me that sugar was the single cause of my acne my entire life.

"Whenever anyone gives me a recommendation i add it to the list" i imagine this only applies to people on patreon or people who sub to his twitch (and might only be in reference to mmo's) but just in case it was a general statement (as extremely unlikely as that is given the amount of people that i have to assume give Josh recommendations on a daily basis) i'll shoot my shot and recommend God Hand. Unique mechanics, campy as hell story and characters, a little difficult but rewarding when learned. An interesting game all around.

technically if you download a Linux distro, learn some stuff about how those work, learn how to stop, copy, swap and freeze RAM sections(and have enough RAM for such) and have a powerful enough CPU to essentially run two of the same game at the same time, you CAN use save-states on PC, in a weird janky way that needs a lot of techy knowledge

Zero sugar drinks are a trap though. The artificial sugars fools your brain/body into thinking it is getting sugar and your body will set into gear processing that "sugar" What it basically boils down to, is you get hungry from zero sugar stuff because your metabolism is in high gear. Which can be fine, as long as you can control your cravings. For people who have a problem with sweets or eating too much, not so much :D Not to mention that a lot of artificial sweeteners are not healthy in the long run and can cause diabetes 2 and other stuff. A single sweet fruit or ½ a teaspoon of regular sugar in plain water with a lemon twist, is the way to go, to satiate those sugar cravings. You can control the amount and nothing artificial about it.
