We are starting a new series of videos with talks/formation/catechism in our praesidium to give a big push on for people who could be on the verge to conversion or even far away and started considering the #catholic Church but could have a lot of restrictions and think really badly about the only church that Christ funded himself...
Anyway, come along with our dear Brother Richard Harrington to discover/be reminded about 7 topics that will be explored and that will enrich the lives of:
Catholics - to have fresh in mind the reasons for our hope, as our first pope reminds us in his first letter:
"Always be prepared to make a defense to anyone who calls you to account for the hope that is in you, yet do it with gentleness and reverence." (1 Peter 3:15)
Protestants - to discover the absolute "truth" of the Catholic faith and doctrine - and to convert to the fullness of faith. Come back to the true Church of Christ!
"I pray not only for these but also for those who through their teaching will come to believe in me. May they all be one, just as, Father, you are in me and I am in you, so that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe it was you who sent me. I have given them the glory you gave to me, that they may be one as we are one." (John 17:20-22)
Atheists - to have their eyes opened to the supernatural reality of a Church that is out there for over 2k years and still holding fire against the attempts of Hell to bring her down. She is the Mother and Master and remains solid and firm like always and will always be like that - and to convert to the fullness of faith. Come back to the true Church of Christ!
"You are Peter and on this rock I will build my community. And the gates of the underworld can never overpower it." (Matthew 16:18)
Everyone - to know we are witnesses of this treasure of faith, in the organization that we are parts as lay people, the glorious Legion of Mary. Join the army of the Blessed Virgin Mary and come to work for Our Lady and Our Lord!
"It is not ourselves that we are proclaiming, but Christ Jesus as the Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. It is God who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness,' that has shone into our hearts to enlighten them with the knowledge of God's glory, the glory on the face of Christ. But we hold this treasure in pots of earthenware, so that the immensity of the power is God's and not our own. We are subjected to every kind of hardship, but never distressed; we see no way out but we never despair; we are pursued but never cut off; knocked down, but still have some life in us; always we carry with us in our body the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus, too, may be visible in our body. Indeed, while we are still alive, we are continually being handed over to death, for the sake of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus, too, may be visible in our mortal flesh. In us, then, death is at work; in you, life. But as we have the same spirit of faith as is described in scripture -- I believed and therefore I spoke -we, too, believe and therefore we, too, speak, realizing that he who raised up the Lord Jesus will raise us up with Jesus in our turn, and bring us to himself -- and you as well. You see, everything is for your benefit, so that as grace spreads, so, to the glory of God, thanksgiving may also overflow among more and more people. That is why we do not waver; indeed, though this outer human nature of ours may be falling into decay, at the same time our inner human nature is renewed day by day." (2 Corinthians 4:5-16)
