Hugh, you hit a home run with this one. You have pegged both Harris and Trump precisely correct. President Trump is really a moderate conservative who is very pragmatic. Harris is none of those things and is truly radical. I initially in 2016 was slow to support President Trump, because he just wasn't conservative enough. I have had to change my opinion on many people who left our party as being either fake conservatives or in most cases, grifters. The sad thing is that the vast majority of people do not have any idea of just how radical Harris and Walz are. Everyone needs to spread this video to as many people as possible.

This is a badly reasoned essay. Our Vice President has a team of advisors, who brief her every day. If they say American action against pirates do not count as "engaged in combat"... do we count a city's SWAT team going into a high school to search out a possible school shooter. David Muir and Linsey Davis did a superb job of moderating the debate. Maybe Hugh Hewitt never had to moderate a debate where one party uses a dirty trick. He throws out lie after lie, and the opponent loses valuable time saying "Here's why your statement is a lie." So, ABC News, stepping up to the challenge of a Presidential debate, put a clause in the contract. The moderators were going to fact-check, letting the candidate use their entire time as planned. As long as it is in the rules... as long as both parties agreed to those rules before ABC agreed to put the debate on their network... It was simply a brilliant solution to a problem Trump had caused in many previous Presidential debate. That's the key here. "A Presidential debate." If Hewitt didn't have a clause about fact-checking at a particular debate, there might be a question. But (in a legal sense) a problem was anticipated and the contract was written to provide a fair solution to all parties.

So, vote for him as a relative improvement over Harris, who would pursue policies which are downright evil. And why would you say he hasn't got the character and temperament? He held the office for four years, and as far as anyone knows, didn't solicit bribes. As for temperament, Harris has an employee turnover rate of 92%. Ask yourself what it says about the woman that nine of ten of her employees leave.
