Today we are kayak fishing big topwater lures for urban giants. The river 2 sea spittin wa frog and the spro king daddy frog got it done today. We were fishing ladybird lake and the summer heat was on. Matted grass was the key to catching some big largemouth bass.

What type of rod do you prefer when frog fishing? Do you go with a moderate or fast action

Good morning. The one in the video is a dobyns fury series mag heavy fast action 7’3”. Typically what I use. Need the backbone and it’s not too expensive. The reel is a shimano curado hgk 8.5:1 to pick up the slack in the line quickly. I appreciate you watching
