👋 So 18 months ago I sold my 2020 Supra because I wanted another manual sportscar. The all new 2023 Nissan Z had just been unveiled so it was a no brainer to get on the list to order one! 18 months later I still actually have no update when I can even order the car and have a build date. However in the meantime I had the opportunity to drive the new 2023 Nissan Z. To be honest it's a great car! I love how Nissan is continuing the Z sportscar decade after decade! Unfortunately the more I drove it the more I realized how they are holding back on the Z Performance. The upcoming Nismo Nissan Z is going to be the one that really wow's me and offers everything! So I decided to canceled buying the Z Performance and wit for the Nismo. However the manual transmission Supra came out a few months ago and was certainly a car I wanted at some point. But when this one popped up at MSRP I just couldn't say no! Because I knew going in to the Z I would just want the Nismo the whole time, and the Supra already is an amazing car, I figured the Supra would be a way better choice since it literally has nothing more to be desired. It is such a good car and I couldn't pass it up. While the Supra is about $6,000 more expensive than the Z. Thinking back to how each car drives. It's worth the money. And because I simply wanted a wow factor sportscar, the Supra is better and I could justify spending more on it. It was hard to convince myself to drop $55,000 on a car I didn't love in every aspect, when the Supra was $61,000 and checked off everything. Loving my decision and the new manual Supra is the benchmark for the Nismo now! Hopefully the NIsmo takes things up a notch! In this video, I'm sharing why I canceled my new Nissan Z and bought a manual Toyota Supra. I hope you find the video helpful in deciding whether to buy a new car or not! Buying an expensive car is a big decision, and it can be tough to make the right choice. In this video, I'm sharing my story about why I canceled my Nissan Z and bought a manual Toyota Supra. I hope you find the video useful and that it helps you make the right decision for you! Overall the Nissan Z is still a good car. It's just a bit too soft for a sportscar and caters more towards the GT driving and daily use. The manual Supra takes it up a notch and will offer more of a high performance focused driving experience. Even though modifications will improve the Nissan Z tremendously. I will still do all the same mods to either car. So a Supra I own will always outperform the Z I would own. The new manual Supra just made sense for me!
