A big key thing is communication. If one partner is unable to articulate or communicate their low points, yet act happy - it can go unnoticed. My husband was able to hide his loneliness from working away from home an be other insecurities behind a smile and charismatic personality when inside he was hurting and sought validation from others because he didn't get that at home all the time anymore.

The reason people cheat boils down to they want to. If the Chester put half the effort into the marriage as they do the affair it wouldn’t happen. They are most of the time trying to replace you with someone they think is better. Not to mention the manipulation of cheater and their prospective shinning light.

And in total we were married for 39 years for 8 years of that I wasn't a Dark depression I didn't know what to do He never talked to me never told me there we had issues or anything else all I knew is that everything was always about him what was going to make him feel good the next thing he was gonna buy he wouldn't give me money for anything except for groceries and car gas it was sad but now it's gone And it's hard for me and my family to deal with this because we don't understand why he took his life

My Wife and I have been separated for several months, and May 28th was our wedding anniversary 8 years, I called my wife to make plans to spend some time together and she rejected me, I went out and started drinking and a woman called me and I told her that I was feeling hurt and she told me to come over to calm down, I was seduced by her and she gave me a std, I told my wife what I done and how I felt really guilty and dirty for doing this mess, I Hurt my Wife and Marriage beyond repair, It's all my fault for being weak and selfish. 😢

What if the spouse who cheated cannot face what he did, has moved out and is hoping the issue will just go away. He will not talk to me, he says he cheated and had sex with a man because hes gay. I try to understand but can't be empathetic towards him but I do not believe hes gay after 38 years together. Pornography and masturbating is or was involved and I thought he was in a midlife crisis so I backed off after being pushed away. Our marriage was not perfect. However im struggling with going forward. I love him but I cannot help him or fix it for him and he does not want to discuss divorce. He wants me for emotional stability but wants his LO for sex. Hes chasing something he will never get. Im confused, hurt but want to help him. Love him and can't because hes too into himself to want to get help. Can you help me. Im so lost.

I've caught my spouse and have concrete evidence and he still denies never admits or comes clean. He admits he has cheated but refuses to tell me any kind of details. He says it wont help only make things worse... But i feel i need to know that what im imagining will always be worse than what it really is. And what if i do forgive then later down the rd i hear something that might have been from before that he thinks i forgave him for like a blanket forgiveness but to me its still new info so it feels new to me! How do i get him to be accountable for what hes done? And just be honest?

After 31 years of marriage my husband always had low self esteem and needed validatyou shouldn't he ended up having an affair with a married woman Because I fell into a deep depression because it was all about him never about me he would never give me any attention whatsoever after he had me falsely arrested and removed from my home after a month and a 1/2 having the affair with the married woman I'm not quite sure what happened but she broke it off with him and back in May of this year 2022 he killed his self and I'm still trying to deal with all of this insanity my heart is broken my children's hearts are broken my grandchildren's hearts are broken we have no validation on anything Why would he do that that's my question why he said that he done things that he can't come back from a lot of people got to talk to him on the phone before he shot itself he was just crying all the time not making sense

Okay they cheat because they have NO morals,No honesty,NO self control,NO self respect,NO Love,NO shame,NO compassion, They are lying cheating disgusting people. Anyone that stays with a cheater also needs help .

Bullshit excuses. People are vague and do not express their feelings clearly, or are expecting their partner to guess what's going on with them, or better yet just inclined to be cheaters.
