I related to Jess when she talked about her parents questioning her self care. My mom has a hard time understanding my self care but I’m glad to report she respects it and it’s rubbing in 😊. She now reads and rests after 7pm instead of finding something to clean 😊.

Thanks for sharing this story. I’m a Latina micro-entrepreneur and I am also in a 9-5. I used to be at the top of my career and also struggled with being told congratulations or that I was going a good job. Now that I’m a bit older and the congratulations and pats on the back don’t come as frequently, I realize how big those moments are. I think because many of us struggled growing up, we honestly feel we have a lot of catching up to do before we can truly soak in the congrats. We are too busy hustling and getting ahead of what we had that we don’t have the mental capacity to truly appreciate the words people are saying to us. I’ve so been there. Now, I realize I miss those words. Hindsight is 20/20. Try to appreciate it and soak it in. One day, the congratulations go away and you’ll definitely miss them.

Jess look at your birthchart. Dulce was acting like she relates but she totally accepts compliments and feels that about herself. I think for you its tied into the Capricorn energy.

❤ the interview. I appreciate Jessica sharing her self care, mental , physical health and her daughter. I wore clothes given to my mom from others people when they couldn’t fit in them up until 9th grade. I also wore clothes from JCPenney and other places . There was no money for fancy stuff. I am the youngest of 5️⃣ from immigrant parents. When I got to 10th grade shopping with my mom for my sweet sixteen 👗 (I change into a different dress) I began to pay attention to fashion more. I still have the 👗. It’s among my favorite piece. In middle school when I attend parties I began to pay attention to the latest trends , but I couldn’t get my hand on all the trends. However thankfully for my sister in laws they would take me to the mall to buy a trendy outfit. There were not many trendy outfits , but however I learn to use the outfits in multiple ways. Plenty of trail and errors , and 😂 times in the 80s . My sister in laws continue to do this up until 9th grade. From 10th through 12th grade I was able to get clothes with some trendiness. Then when I went to college and began to take full control of my fashion , and began to learn on my own what fashion style I like. This was 1993 so magazines and entertainment news were my resources.

This was not an uplifting interview. Nothing to do with you Dulce you're great. But I just felt drained with this guest - also she had a hard time communicating her thoughts

I felt the same way. I thought Dluce was gonna talk about herself. I love her thoughts and I was happy to hear what she had to say but this wasn’t it :/
