Great bike and I have one in the UK. I have fitted Legend shocks and it's way better. Now I want to do the forks. Michelin tyres also make a massive difference, especially in the wet. Full S&S and K&N, but no tuner yet. I LOVE this bike, and your mods have made my shopping list even longer, jeeeze. Great vid and keep it up. Ride safe

Ya'll are awesome together. My 2007 Road King Custom just rolled 63,000. i love the progressive shocks on it. I've run progressive on a Sporty, an Ultra (when my wife used to ride with me across country) and now on this RK. I also like to ride a good amount of miles so good shocks and tall bars are very important for long hours of riding for me too at 6'4". My bars are 16s and in my video on my channel). Usually i get the most in person comments on my RKs color, but i like your color a lot. Reminds me of my infantry days!😂 Enjoy the miles!

Bro that awesome! I just checked out the 07 king. She is beautiful- bars look great and I love the color. I have looked at the progressive shocks as well, and it’s good to hear you have had success with them. Also, I was infantry as well- so hell yeah man! And keep throwing down the miles!

Awesome vid! Kleenmoto are great guys to deal with and go above and beyond, its cool that you run their stuff. Saddlemen has some good customer service as well, maybe they would help you in some way if you showed them the wear on the seat. Tuck n roll stitching supposedly is a little more cushy if you were looking for that. Thanks for sharing the upgrades!

I have the Jackpot Riot on my 2018 Fat Bob M8 114. I’ve had it dyno tuned as well. I love it. HP went up roughly 10 as well as 10 TQ. Beautiful Road King.

Fox 🦊 IFP rear shocks and their heavy duty front spring kit. Screaming Eagle heavy duty fork oil up front too. I also have a 2021 RKS in deadwood green. I love the bike! Suspension has been awesome and it handles great, and it is comfortable for long rides too.

@@philblockyeah, I didn’t want to push it too hard. I just want it reliable for miles. But really the 114 stock is still significantly more than my TC88

@@ironfam5 it has good power stock. The only time I've ever wanted more power was 2up loaded down. But that's not often so it's not a big deal.

Great job guys! I enjoyed the breakdown on the changes and upgrades. Having been with you for most of it, I can say it looks and runs great! I might have to pull the trigger on a Road Glide for our longer trips. The old "08 Fatboy" is not as comfortable on those long runs for sure. I do love her though, even when she's difficult

I've ran Legend on touring. I'm planning to put on Legent but +2" front and rear on my 2023 Road King. I'm right now in the process of other upgrades though.

@@ironfam5 It's a huge difference. I've also had SuperShocks before and Legends by far out performs. Ohlins would be the other one to look at.

@@ironfam5 what a hell of a coincidence it was when I saw your video, I am doing that exact same setup to my bike. I have a 2018 industrial Gray road King special. I'm going to be installing the Memphis shades road warrior fairing which I think looks the best on a road King I don't like the bigger fairings, the Memphis shades warrior faring looks awesome on it, it reminds me of an old FXR. I'm going to be putting that same pipe you got except black. I'm going to be changing out my floorboards to those same ones you have from thrasher supply and the handlebars are going to be thrasher supply t-bars that have a little bit of a curve to them and they pull back a little bit and they will be 2 inches below my shoulders. and then changing out my seat to a saddlemen with the attached adjustable backrest. Also I'm going to swap out the engine guard to the same type you have it makes the bike look a lot slimmer and cleaner. Thanks for sharing my friend you have a great looking bike and ride safe.

Nice ride. I'm on a 2020 RKS after 25 years on the fairing bikes. Done with the tech. I'm going simple these days. All I need is a speedo. So, did I miss the part about the speakers and what's powering them? I'd like to speakers that I can BT to. Thanks!

It’s all held in the bags. But it was actually a Rockford Fosgate system that came from factory installed. Would never have been something I got myself, but having them is pretty nice!

@@ironfam5 Thanks. $$$ I'll stick to my helmet speakers. Side note: You mentioned 120 degrees in Phoenix. That's a no shit story. I'm from Vegas. It's hot but it ain't phoenix hot. Couple years ago I was riding to NM with a stop in Casa Grande to visit my daughter. 122 degrees on the 10 between Phx and CG! Insane. Keep up the content. I love the RK. The tech on these new baggers is a huge distraction. Not interested in that.

@ yeah the new tech can be a bit much. But hey, for some people they’re all about it. And yeah Phoenix is no joke in the summer. But today I was riding around in just my vest because it’s in the 70s haha so there are pros and cons to living here.

The Memphis shades fairing is easy to detach when you want to as well, so more modular in a way the other tourers can never be. Sometimes I want all the wind😂.
