I really like your reasoning for joining the Air Force, it's very similar to mine. I used to want to join the Marines until I realized that physically and mentally it just wouldn't be a good fit. A lot of research about the Air Force and having to accept my own limitations played a big role in why I decided I wanted to join the Air Force. I ship in a few months and couldn't be more excited.

I just swore into the Air Force 2 days ago. I was a bit apprehensive in the beginning because a lot of the things I was hearing just seemed too good to be true but after hearing several testimonies of people saying the same thing, I'm now more excited than ever to start my training.

I’m tied between army and Air Force. The only reason why I want to join the army is because my husband is army national guard and has 3 more years of service. I’m scared we might get separated if I join the Air Force. I like what the Air Force has to offer.

Love your tattoos! I want to get more but after my first visit to a recruiter I was advised not to get more until I make my decision on whether or not I’ll join (Air Force, by the way 😉). Makes me sad but I suppose I understand. Anyway I’ve been a subscriber for a while and I really enjoy your videos. In fact, I started seriously considering enlisting because of you. Lol I'm stuck between the navy and airforce too! Airforce mostly bc everyone says it's the absolute best quality of life and transition into career in civilian life. Thats about it. Navy had my heart bc how often they travel, I always loved the idea of being out at sea but I HAVE NO IDEA HOW I WILL DO ON A BOAT. I have been on a stationary aircraft carrier it was fine but not the same as living on one lol

My top goal is to be exposed to as much of the world as I possibly can. Not sure if the airforce does alot of traveling like the navy, do you know if it depend on your deployments or job? I have the idea that the opportunity to travel to different countries is kind of a gamble in the airforce I could be wrong!

Kassie A so, the navy is a safer bet at travel. But what to consider is how you’re traveling. Under water or on a carrier? That’s why I didn’t join the navy. I couldn’t do it. The Air Force is job dependent. The opportunity is surely there but it’s a gamble. So I guess it depends on how you wanna risk it. If folks didn’t join the Chair Force, we wouldn’t have anybody other than swabbies to make fun of. For what it’s worth, people with your build excel in the Marine Corps. Mass takes more energy to move and Lord knows moving yourself is a big part of the Marine Corps life. Nothing at all wrong with choosing what fits best. But if someone else sees this and wants to join the Marines and is worried because they’re small, you’ll be fine. That said, I encourage everyone thinking about joining to go Air Force.

InformalGreeting for me, it went more beyond just physical requirements. For the life style demanded I knew I wasn’t made to be that way. I guess I just didn’t like the idea of what they desired their people to be. I just wanted to do the work, and work as much as I can.
