I just bought one also, and it has replaced my G26 for carry. I carry Glocks only for SD. Never thought any Glock would replace my G26 for daily carry, but this one is it. I love the G43X MOS. It's everything I've wanted in a CCW.

I love my G43x mos. It's my EDC. One thing to keep in mind with Sig is they are a complete pain in the ass to fully disassemble the firearm. Glock is so easy to clean and replace parts it's a no brainer imo.

Shield mags are a hit or miss. I bought two mags for my Glock 48, and they work flawlessly. I was excited so I purchased two more magazines for my Glock 43X..extremely disappointed. I could not run a full mag to save my life, both mags would double feed every 5-10 rounds. Sent them back to shield arms, only to get told that there is nothing wrong with them. Moral of the story, why have an extremely reliable Glock with hit or miss mags lol..I now run only oem mags. This happened 10/11/22.

Yeah I stick to OEM. I have one extended mag from Tyrant Design CNC and its phenomenal. I'm probably going to pic another up as well. I carry the 10 round in my gun with one in the chamber. The Extended from Tyrant on my appendix holster, and the spare 10 round in my pocket.

Honestly I like the +2 from The Glock Store , it gives you 13 rounds & you don't need to change the Mag release . I think that's PERFECT . I will say it adds a touch of length to the grip but that's also a HUGE + because you get a better purchase on the gun .

I purchased the 43x because i liked the ability to conceal it easier and ability to carry 15 in a flush fit mag however i noticed the 43x is snappier than my 26 the extra girth and weight help me control the gun better with a 2 round HYVE extension to the 10 round OEM mag, I'll continue to work on getting used to the 43x but the 26 stays put...

This is going to be my first gun. Hoping it’s a decent choice. I just want something reliable, compact, full sized grip and I just like the way it looks. Also supports a red dot which is nice. It’s also not crazy expensive. Isn’t cheap. But isn’t expensive as hell. At least I don’t think.

Its an excellent choice for a carry weapon. Probably the overall best EDC gun when considering size, capacity, and reliability. Shield Arms makes a 15rd steel mag that sits flush... that makes the capacity 16 rounds. Almost the same capacity as a full size glock 17.

Two stock polymer mags are my choice for EDC than Shield's 15-mag. The polymer stock magazine does not cut through the 43X polymer frame than Shield's mag would probably do in a matter of time.

I just bought the MOS one also. I actually like how it shoots it wasn’t as snappy to me like people said. I shot that, the hellcat (HELLA SNAPPY) and the Sig and I like the Glock better than them all and it was cheaper 🤷🏾‍♀️

Shield & Swampfox sentinel fit right on the slide while all others require a plate far as I know. Have 43X but prefer my 48 mos cause it's more accurate for me . Just have to concentrate on pulling trigger straight back & consultant grip . Thinking on getting a Shield Arms magwell to improve grip on my 48?

You need to trim down a screw that go onto the red dot sight it catches common problem with the 43X if you’re not aware, all you need to trim down the screw, and your mags will run flawless.

Good vid but correct me if i am wrong, although u dont care for glock sights, the optic u are using will not allow u to co witness with factory sight. Additionally, the TLR 7 is not madenfor the 43 x mos. It is made for a gun with a picitinny or weaver rail. The rail on the 43 x mos is narrower than both and eventually it will come loose.. if i am wrong please enlighten me.. for mine i bought the nitestick , lase/ light combo made specifically for the 43 mos Thanks for a great vid

Yea this optic won’t let you co witness the stock sights. You can a little, but not intended for co witnessing. The TLR7 Sub I have is made specifically for the 43x mos, different from the standard TLR7.

Get the $20 Johnny Glock oem trigger, its flat and smooth, the original g43x trigger is awful and serrstro. The JG one also has an over travel adjustment built in so you can really eliminate most of the pre travel before the break.

When you started using the Shield steel magazines did you switch out the Glock mag release for a steel part? After awhile of using the steel mags with the original mag release the steel mags will wear ion the plastic Glock release. Next time you buy an electronic sight, look at a green dot. The human eye picks up the color green better and quicker than red.

I didn’t switch out my mag release because they weren’t readily available at the time. I need to switch it out but just haven’t got around to ordering and installing it. My mag release hasn’t had a problem yet, but I do know that is an issue that others have had, so it’s on the to-do list. I’ve tried a green dot once and wasn’t too sure how I felt about it, so I’ve stuck with red dots on all my guns for now.

Been on and off the fence between the 43x MOS and Hellcat pro. I ended up ordering the Hellcat pro just cuz I like Springfield overall and have a couple of the XDM series. But I really considered the Glock probably will eventually get the 43x just cuz. Also how is it carrying with a red dot? I haven’t had any experience with the macro, so can’t really have a good opinion on it. From what I understand it’s more compact size than sub compact, which would make it noticeably bigger than the 43x in hand. I truly feel like the better comparison would be the 365xl and 43x, but like I said, I don’t know a ton about the macro, so I’d look at some videos directly comparing them before making a decision. Holding 17 rounds is nice, but if it’s harder to conceal then it’s a trade off you have to consider.

I don’t have either but from the outside looking in I would say cost would factor in for me. I carry a 365 XL and I’m considering a 43x. The x macro is like $800 and usually the 43x is around $500. If cost isn’t an issue, I would recommend going to the range and renting one.

@@kroniicaledc7316 43x and macro are so close to same size it not funny. But where is 43x is snappy. Still can control it with good grip. The macro is flat. Plus direct mount optic and metal night sights with built in comp. It worth it. 43x mos is 600-650 plus 100 or more to get metal night sights puts it at same cost. Plus if you use 407k or 507k or eps carry you have to use plate or grind off back lugs.

The main thing the MOS gets you is the ability to add an optic. You can have your 43x slide cut to mount an optic, you just have to have a third party company do it. I highly recommend NCEngravers.

I chose it because I have a sig 365 xl and wanted a sig macro but is was 799 plus tax and they had a US made 43x mos for 519 plus tax so I had to buy it. LOL. Also have a bunch of shield arms mags from when I had a g48 mos that I traded for the xl so I was already ready to go. Also my XL is super accurate, I don't know why but its probably the tighter tolerances but the 43x mos can still shoot a tight group at 7-10 yards but the XL group will always be tighter. Both are great.

The 19 shoots better because it’s a bigger gun. I’ve found you’ll almost always shoot slightly better with a bigger gun. While the 43x doesn’t shoot as well, for me, as the 19, the conceal ability and weight, are worth the trade off without a doubt. I’m a big guy, but that difference in size is absolutely noticeable both in how it feels to carry, and how it prints on the body. 19 is a safe choice, but I’ll take the 43x every time.

As far as the Glock trigger, I am not a fan of them at all. There is a sharp ridge on all new Glock pistol triggers that cuts into the trigger finger. The trigger must be gently filed so as to remove that sharp edge.

The shield arms mags are known for jamming. That’s why most don’t use those mags for their edc, but the Glock 43x with its 10 round jags is reliable. Perhaps you should look into the hellcat pro

Pair the Shield Arms Gen-2 mags and the Shield Arms Mag Catch and you won't have any issues with the 43x.

I love my 43. Cant understand why people want to load it up full of accessories on the 43x. Kind of defeats the purpose.

Not if guns are a hobby. Some people enjoy it for some their reasons than just concealed carry.

@@bryanmiller5692 I’m have both side by side. Slide is shorter. Grip with shield arms is 1/8 shorter. And that only because angle is not the same. For all. They the same
