Fantastic video! I probably wouldn't have heard of this bag/manufacturer had I not found your review. Thank you! And yes, the green does look really cool. :)

I appreciate it. Two months later and I'm still super happy with this backpack.

Thanks for this video! What was the shoulder bag? This seems virtually perfect for me, apart from maybe the height. I may ask Martin if he can make the 22 with the depth on the 30. Is he open to changes like that or also internal pocket changes?

Thank you for watching! Good questions, but I'm not sure what he's willing to shift on. I'd asked him if he could do a hip belt after the fact, and he wasn't able to do at that time. Smaller adjustments seemed fine. The shoulder bag is a Ulanzi - I did a review here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pIe1eGOap9aJacU

Hi , great video . I would like to share certain points about this Martin’s backpack . This kind of opening of main compartment is really inconvenient as far as you open the bag in public places . Secondly it reduces the overall capacity of the backpack . Also when you are carrying all sorts of pouches then why we need pockets in the main compartment . This pack is similar to REI ruckpack , I possess 40 L version and it’s super inconvenient open it after fully packed . Items falls apart and outside the bag so easily . Best Deaign according to me is what Goruck or recycle firefighter offers . And simpler the bag durable it is . Anyways good luck . Thank you

Interesting perspective, sounds like the GoRuck is the right bag for your needs. For me, I find the Rehose lighter, easier to get items in and out of, and more comfortable than the GoRuck.

Did you choose the 30L purely for duel purpose as an EDC bag and travel bag? I'm around 5'9/5'10 and was wondering if it was too long. Albeit I am fine with backpacks that are 20 inches long. Edit: @ 10:45 Ahh I see so technically it rides like a taller 16.5 '' backpack for that extra space.

Exactly, and that was a major draw for me to this pack. The extra space rides tall and not low. One thing I'm trying to figure out is if I can modify it to add a detachable hip belt.
