Dear Van, I am from Germany. I have been following you for some time. I had already planned a trip to Vietnam in 2019, which could only take place in autumn 2022 because of Covid-19. I used the long waiting time to prepare for my trip with the help of your videos. You have sharpened my understanding of your great country, the culture, the people, the landscapes, the food. You enabled me to see my journey, which took me from Vietnam to Cambodia to New Zealand and Australia over several months, in a completely different light. Originally, Vietnam was just a sidekick to see beautiful landscapes. Your videos have opened my eyes and my mind. I probably would have missed a lot if your videos hadn't given me so much of Vietnam and the people there. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your videos. Despite all the professionalism and commitment with which you produce your videos, the charm and authenticity is never lost. And everyone can feel your love for this great country, its culture and its people. Thank you, and I hope that you will soon be well again and that there will be a continuation of your videos. Take your time for your recovery. With kind regards PS: You saved my life with one of your videos - I crossed the street in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City several times without being injured ;-)

Thank you so much for the insights. I am a California man who loves a Vietnamese woman. We are both in our late fifties. She is an engineer for the California water district. Kimthoa was put in an underground prison when she was twelve years old in Vietnam and it hurt her. Now she is strong and thriving in California. I respect her so much for many reasons. How can I make her smile. How can I show her that I truly love and respect her for her strength and her kindness? She is brilliant.

Glad to have you back, Pho. There are times when we need to put ourselves first, in order to keep on going with a smile on our face. One of the reasons that glued me to this channel was the authenticity, the smile, and the passion you put into every single video. Also those traits, characteristic of the Southeast Asian people, were the main reason that made me fall in love with the region and its culture. Keep that in mind, and remember that communication isn't only about how much information you can pick together (it has more to do with the way the message is taken across). Do not pressure yourself, and thank you for all your endeavour.

Welcome back Mrs Van. (Sorry I am not good at using forms). Content that I would like to see is an Ao Dai contest if there is such a thing. Maybe you can get measured for one at tailor and show us some of the process of it being made. The traditional ao dai is Vietnam's greatest fashion invention. Also a visit to a Vietnamese bonsai nursery. Oh, and perhaps show us a typical Vietnamese wedding... preferably yours.
