Thank you for making this video. All the words you've mentioned was true. Kinda contemplating these past few weeks if I'm going to follow my passion which is makeup artistry over being a cosmetic chemist. I love makeups and skin care. I realized that i want to formulate something that could help people who struggled just like me to discover what's best for their skin care. Also this advice from ted talk hit me hard. "To find your work you love don't follow your passion rather do what's valuable. Explore, build skills,solve big pressing problems. Alrtruism is one thing you'll never regret. If we really want to be fulfilled in our own careers we have to stop focusing so much on our own interests and instead ask what we can do for other people." -Tedxtalks

i've been stalling around a few majors for university... i'm 19 and still haven't decided what i want to do, but i've always had cosmetic science in the back of my mind. Although there's something holding me back, as if i won't be capable to get through it.

Been there when i was your age. But I regret stalling now that I’m 24. Try the free career course tests online, it may help you figure what you really wanna have. Many people are rooting for you. You can do it. 🙂

i am now in grade 12, and i likeeeee MAKEUP! but i love Science. so i dream to be a cosmetic chemist. this is not that common in my country, i am from philippines, is it worth it to be a cosmetic chemist😍

Hey Grace,since you're already a pharmacist, you have a greater hand than most people. Personally, I would put a hold on going back to school to get a cosmetic science degree and just try applying for jobs with your pharmacy degree.x

Basma Elyamani yes apply with your resume as a pharmacist and maybe in your cover later clearly indicate that you are passionate about skincare and will use your knowledge as a pharmacist to bring a different perspective on skincare formulation.
