That's because the UI is fixed to the player position. You can try and position smooth UI too, maybe that would fix the problem. Or you can fix your UI to the camera position

Or just reparent the ui to the camera

put the ui stuff in a CanvasLayer node, you can also put that CanvasLayer node inside the player

0:19 It's because your UI is another object in a game's world and is binded to player. And because smooth camera isn't tightly binded to player, UI is going off too. UI should be rendered over what camera has captured, not recorded by in-world camera

@@chocolatecake50000 Is the UI a child of the player node? If the UI is a child of for example a Canvas Layer, it won't move like that.
