Mrembo, your content is just amazing. It takes time, creativity and roho safi to invite us into your house, learn and critic. Cooked vegetables are best steamed. Even when adding to e.g. stews, leave them to last 5 mins, turn the heat off and mix. Coz the stew is hot, they will cook yet remain e.g. peas, hoho green. Coz after freezing, then reheating to eat, they cook more loosing all the nutrients. Roast vegetables are best eaten as cooked. Again coz they are crunchy and sweet as opposed to reheated after collecting freezing waters hence soggy.

sasa Suzy. I love your personality! the chicken skin is the best especially when baking/roasting chicken. That's where the natural fats and taste comes from! The oven crisps the skin abit so it won't be as gross as when stewed. also the natural fat is healthier and you use less processed oil.

Well done once again. With the tray bake vegetables it's best to put our African potatoes in the oven first and spread them thinly on the tray followed by carrots, then sweet papers ie the red and yellow ones that ripen from those green peppers if they're available and courgettes. On the day you're warming them to eat it tastes delicious with chopped tomatoes that will cook in the tray as you warm the tray bake. This is my experience with tray bakes. Thanks for all the tips shown here.

But you didn't show what dish you made with it. I love okra we cook it mixed with rice in one pot delish, also it's added with taro leaves (we have another name for it) and coconut milk yum - its call callaloo, yum. Blessings from 🇹🇹

@@suzyshomestead There's also a store called Asami between Koja and the Bazaar in town. I purchased my freezer safe plastics from there too and they've been serving me well so far. Keep up the good job

First of all..I think you're making a convert out of me. Secondly thanks for making the videos fun and easy. I know you worked a whole day but you made it look super easy. 👌🏾. You can Google a sweet and sour sauce for meatballs. I thinks you'll nail it and you will love it!
