Why I don't like converters for your battery connectors in Airsoft AEG's.

Another great video is it mostly higher end AEG's that have deans fitted as standard a good friend of mine has a nuprol AEG that has tamiya fitted and had problems with it. I tend to go for deans now as lower resistance with the deans Hooe your feeling better soon bud 👍

Thanks mate. I'm glad you liked it. It's surprising how many have deans as standard now. Most Specna for example are deans. It's equally surprising how many high to mid range still use mini Tamiya. Definitely best to go to the deans.

Just found your channel, and want to get into airsoft. And I was wondering if sites allow people to use others guns or such? I have a few questions, I want a gun or a few that are as realistic as possible. So blow back, markings. And I would like one with hardest kick. I was thinking the Desert Eagle would be the one that would give me that? Though I do like the look of the Umarex Glock. And the Smith and Wesson stuff looks amazing too. Any help of guidance is much appreciated!

Hi. I'm happy to hear your looking at getting into Airsoft. Always good to have new players and it is great fun. Sites will generally allow you to use any 6mm airsoft replica provided that it meets site limits. This will generally be dependant on the site you go to but they will normally be very open about there limits. So first of all decide where you fancy playing and then check them out on line so you have an idea about their site rules before you go. Here in the UK we need to have a defence to purchase a realist imitation firearm or RIF. Your defence will be Airsoft skirmishing but it will depend on the retailer for what they will accept. If your not in the uk then that bit doesn't apply to you. For maximum realism you can't go far wrong with Gas Blowback. There are shell ejecting options to go even more realistic but these are normally impractical for gameplay. In the world of GBB you have primaries and secondary. So pistol or rifle. GBB can be a great deal more expensive than AEG but if you want realism it's the way forward. It can also make the game much more difficult, limited rounds for example. An AR GBB will hold 30 bb's in the mag compared to potentially 300 in an aeg high cap. Frosting can also be an issue limiting performance in cold weather. As to the pistols you mention, the Desert Eagle is certainly a hefty beast and looks very cool. If you want maximum blowback or felt recoil then sometimes co2 rather than green gas is the way forward. I hope this helps.

As you stated, those adapters are still running on a mini tamiya so there's no upgrade lol, there's only one use for that I can see and that would be if you have a charger that only works on a mini tamiya, you can use that adapter to charge a deans battery. Other than that it's pointless.

I completely agree. That's an excellent use case for one as well. As you said chargers, they can come in handy on those.
