Easier said than done. Did it for a year and a half. Went solo last year and life has been BLISS. And you're not going to drive 11 hours evey day, don't care if you're Superman's long lost brother....

Ummmm that's why you don't drive with someone you don't trust and also if you drive your hours like you're suppose to you'll be so tire that you'll forget you're in a moving truck until they have to break hard and you almost get throw out the bunk 😂

I've done it where we both drove 9 hours and then stopped completely for 4 so you'd get 4 hours solid rest and then when it's time to drive the person who's not driving is already in that deeper sleep and it's easier to sleep through the bumps and noise in that state than it is to try and fall asleep while the trucks bouncing around and aggravating you. Then take naps when getting loaded and unloaded and it worked out fine. Gotta be willing to sacrifice a few dollars for quality sleep and when 2 people are living in a small environment like that it's much better that you're not both sleep deprived A-holes to each other or that team won't last long.

Yes and that messed me up when I tried to drive a truck. 6 weeks where that truck was constantly moving even when we were parked because it would automatically start and shut off for the heat and AC and it would shake the truck every time it did it. So every 15 minutes I would get shaken violently as the truck started or shut off. I ended up falling asleep going down the highway and nearly went off a drop off. I said it's not for me. Not to mention that seat bouncing up and down destroyed my back quickly. I could not make adjustments in a truck that belonged to somebody else that I was training in.

The truck probsbly won't be rolling 24 hours. Both drivers can park the truck and rest for a couple hours.

Team is not for everyone But first you need a good divider to block out the light. Try 12 hours shift 3 to 3 works best for me. It allows me to be fully awake During 4,5,6 am all day than 3am come around and I am ready for sleep. I Have done 10 hrs shift but It really messes with your clock

Look team driving isn't for everyone! Best way to do it is in 12 hr shifts i drive 3a-3p. I park around 230 then we eat and he starts his shift. It does get crowded in that little cab thats why i try to pack lite.

I team drove with my ex. The problem with him was that he was a bad driver… slamming on the breaks, jerking the wheel, speeding over dirt parking lots that have potholes. Never again…..

Team driving is only good for local routes that require you to unload or load a trailer. Anything else is just dangerous and cheap smh 🤦🏿‍♂️ I hated team driving.

If you're not tired after driving 11 hours you must be taking in too much caffeine or something. As for the light, there's curtains and window covers for a reason. I also squeeze a blanket under the top bed so it drapes down and covers the bottom bunk so if my co driver opens the curtains I'm not disturbed. As far as trusting my co driver, he's basically my best friend and we got our CDL with the plan to drive together. It would be hard to trust someone I don't know.

FACTS !!! Some people complain about everything and won't make things work. Just close the curtains and learn how to fall asleep in uncomfortable conditions. Get with the right company and it's worth it when you get that check

I agree 100% I actually started backwards and did solo for 2 1/2 years and now since the company is leaning towards that way I am team driving. There are pros and cons of everything. Most days I’m in a really bad mood because the road won’t let you actually fall asleep, maybe in a RV but not these Cascadias , it’s exhausting .

I was offered a job, but is team driving 🫠 i can't trust someone else driving. What if they have a bad day or fall asleep when driving.
