Why I DON'T Love the New ZENITH Defy Skyline 2022 | Royal Oak Copy?

I think the mistake that was made with the Skyline is that 10 second sub dial! Get rid of that, replace it with a regular seconds hand and I think you have a winner. I would definitely consider it if this change is made. The argument about AP/RO vs this or any other "look alike" can really ridiculous and if we really get into the history of the brands, is the RO the copy?! Just saying!

You don't have video of you holding it in your hand which gives you no credibility. I finally saw it in person yesterday and I've come around on it and now want one. It looks spectacular in person.

As an owner of both, Ap and the new Skyline, there is just no comparison, yet you do get an exceptional value with he Skyline. AS of today, a Zenith Defy Skyline is 5-6x the price less then a Royal Oak.

I have 3 Rolex Sports models l love the Defy Skyline is the real deal it's on my list next Zenith making big moves in the Watch world with there Designs Awesome 👌

They should’ve done it exactly like the 1969 model but with a the new bracelet, this new model is copying AP too much.

They did release an almost exact reissue of the 1969 model this year, but it would have been great to see a more faithful modern evolution as well.

Lastly, no sure if I'm sold on the dial.pattern. I believe the sun burst blue that was on the old model was better.

I think the Defy and the Laureato are both older than the AP RO. I do think the Laureato is a great watch and now carrying a waitlist.

AP, Rolex and a few other select watch companies that artificially create scarcity with their watches should be shunned by all of us until these unethical practices cease! For example, this Zenith vs AP/RO back and forth , NO WAY is an AP worth 3x....4x......5x more than the Zenith, NO WAY!

Is very confusing to read the second hand . Also takes to much attention from the rest of the dial , make in it annoying at times . A regular 60 second display would have been great . No One asked for that weird one tenth of a second display . Just nonsense
