I have been running a well structure performance Max campaign for 5 months now and still cannot see any data under Asset groups>View details > Performance. Google clearly states that no action is needed to change the N/A that appears under the Performance column. Do you have any reasons I am having this issue?

Hi Aaron. It may be different with a smart shopping campaign that has been converted to PMAX like mine. When google converted the smart shopping to PMAX in July last year I broke out our 3 top selling products into their own PMAX campaigns with all asset groups having "Excelent Strength". None of the 3 reached a ROAS much above 8. The PMAX no assets campaign has a 10 ROAS. Unfortunately when it was a smart shopping campaign the ROAS was above 12. I have no idea why but it is what it is - any ideas?

Do you need to use all 15 headlines? No matter what I replace the low headlines with the results are always still low so is it better to just remove the low headlines and keep the best and good ones?

Do you recommend putting in Audience signals in feed only PMAX or none at all? I have an e-commerce gifts store and I am currently running a PMAX feed only campaign without any audience signals. So I am currently thinking to use gifts & occassions and personalized gifts as Audience signals asking with “people who have visited websites like Etsy and Amazon”. Do you recommend this?

Here's one for you. I made an error when I created my PMAX campaign. It covers 30 kids trikes. When I made the trikes inactive on the feed only campaign, I accidently left 1 still active. So I've had the product showing in both campaigns. In the dedicated PMAX campaign in 14 days there was 4.5 conversions at a ROAS of 5.2. In the feed only campaign in the same period I've had 5.97 conversions with a ROAS of 21.03. What the * is going on here?

If you’ve got an average website with low prices, a feed only campaign can work. But PMax doesn’t scale. The more you fine tune it, the worst it performs.

Hey, Aaron. What do you think, will experts in setting up advertising will lose their job in near future? Considering, on the trend, optimization, automation and simplification of all processes? Conditionally in 10 clicks, it will be possible to set up advertising with help of artificial intelligence or chatgpt, etc. I mean, will your "specialty" still be relevant in 10 years in your opinion?
