The word is clearly filtered and blocked in game. The person had to specifically go out of their way to avoid the filter, its clear in the TOS that that word and language is not allowed in game. Its not a matter of "having privilege" to say it where ever one wants, because frankly regardless or "privilege" its not okay to use that language in some places, especially when a private company providing a service (this game, a restaurant, a church etc" has chosen for the safety of their patrons to not allow the word. This is a very based take, and were you to use this word anywhere near me or my mates down here in Australia regardless of your "privilege" you'd be laid flat on your back for using it. I genuinely can't comprehend how Twitch staff can so continuously make awful decisions around banning. This is either a mistake they made under false information and a lack of determining the situation themselves, or they're essentially saying that in order for a streamer to be safe from a ban they have to completely close off any interactions (in-game text chats, team voice chats, etc.) with anyone, regardless of trust status as they are overall incapable of predicting the decisions made by other people and that how the streamer "reacts" to the situation is completely irrelevant. That’s what thousands of hours of practice with streaming over the years does to a man. That said, as someone who has been practicing public speaking for the past few years I can safely say that most “orators(including myself)” simply miss the point of public speaking. They speak because they enjoy hearing themselves talk and miss the big picture; the message they want to communicate. Instead they prefer to go off on numerous tangents about this and that rather than sticking to what’s important. They can have a great sounding voice and an enviable vocabulary, but without a strong message to communicate their speech might as well be noise.

Why do streamers complain about twitch so much................. "VICTIM MENTALITY." Just make a Twitch website alternative. Stop being so agreeable and start being disagreeable. If ad companies don't want to display their ads over something out of someone's control who cares, if all of the streamers make their own platform and the ad companies are complaining let them complain. Do ad companies care about racism or do they just want a haggling point to offer a lower price on their ads. No one has cahones anymore. See through the BS it's a haggling point that hardly cuts into profit. Do a profit opportunity analysis and you might find that the cost to implement all of these bandaid solutions to hide gamer attitudes might be actually costing twitch more than it would be to just take a lower ad revenue from bigger corporations. If the corporations know that the people on twitch have a high transfer rate they shouldn't care what they are doing. If you cater to a bunch of grungy gamers, who cares what they do. Corporations are narcissistic to the sense that no one literally cares who their customer demographic is yet they think that people do. Example Pepsi commercial..... If streamers think that Twitch is an abusive relationship leave and build your own better company together it is America, stop complaining and start doing. Make the world a more conducive place and stop being a slave/simp to corporations. If you have problem statements go fix them on your own. The death of companies is the lack of listening to their customers. Air BNB didn't start winning until they realized that their most important customer was the house owners, the house owners' domain was to keep the renters happy. Stop being victims as streamers and build your own platform. Y'all got plenty of money together............. Question: Would you continue to play on a game and(or) server that is 100% pay-to-win/Simp-to-win? If the answer is "no" why the fudge are you still there. Think outside your boxes. If Twitch was for you guys they would change their business model canvas revenue streams to maybe take a % tax from all donations thus chaining themselves to the benefits and flourishing of the streamers rather than to corporations marketing through twitch. Twitch is as much a slave to Corporations as streamers are to twitch. Would AIR BNB survive if they changed their Business model revenue stream to primarily make money off of ads, "no." as Asfand said. "It blows my mind how unbelievably stupid this company can be."

@@unnlucky333 OTK and other twitch groups have their own teams. Similar to divorce there has to be reasons for leaving twitch. The problem is groups like OTK band together but then have to conform to Twitchs perceived problems which is not necessarily conducive. The actions of twich moderation is similar to how a schizophrenic/tyrant would manage . They create win-lose situations which shows a lack of respect for people like asmond. Which is why unless streamers band together to fight such topics its honestly better to start their own mature platform. America didn't conform to Englands policies they eventually branched off because they didn't think it was a win-win.

I did not know it was a subsidiary but now this suddenly makes sense Amazon is one of the largest corrupt companies in the modern day even down to the little things theres a pair of worker socks from a company you probably heard of named JCB now JCB socks are good because they don't fray and get holes so easily... but I found out through thorough investigation online that amazon, specifically the amazon uk warehouse was selling Counterfeit JCB socks replica's thar JCB did not make and fell apart fraying internally easily within a week! Biden hired somebody who has been workign diligently for years now collecting evidence to prosecute amazon under the full force of U.S. law and she has been given a high position in the top courts of the country I haven't retained enough because this happened when biden became president so I am going off memory but that was the details then I do not know if any of the circumstances have changed since then since I live in the uk. But honestly I think amazons shopping site has gone to hell... it was trustworthy maybe 6-7 years ago for me now but i'm seeing deeply buried reviews of some dodgy crap and amazon cover it fake reviews theres no moderation... heck I wouldn't be surprised if criminals had found a way to use it for laundering money like some sort of grey site as amazon clearly don't care about their customers... and more and more of these scam and counterfeit sellers with dodgy names are appearing especially for electronics on amazon which they do nothing about... I have a better chance getting something working and real from Wish... and that's really saying something considering most the tech comes from shenzen in china!

@@roro803r No. Even if asmon is perma banned from the platform, most of the people will just watch another twitch streamer in their free time. A lot of people will say they will boycott the platform, but reality has shown time and time again that when big streamers get banned, their audience just finds someone else to watch. They will be upset, but wont quit twitch. The only thing like that, that might happen is some asmon viewers switching over to youtube only when he is in the middle of streaming there. The only way twitch will feel their revenue threatened is if a large group of big streamers join together and boycott.

What “blows my mind” is that people are mind blown over this, as if twitch hasn’t given unethical suspensions in the past. They started with small streamers, no one spoke out then, now they are moving on to larger streamers and people want to act like this is out of the blue? We’ve known these social platforms are a joke and I don’t understand why we keep brushing their bad decisions under the rug until it happens to a “large” Internet personality.

Just started following you here on KZbin. It’s quite apparent, even in the short amount of time that I’ve been watching, that you’re not racist or homophobic. You possess a clear and lively voice; authentic and genuine. You use logic and personal experience in your opinions and tend to judge people on who they are, what they are saying or doing. Not by the color of their skin; by which name they god or what gender the person is that provides them love and acceptance. So if it all helps, people such as my self, already know this is completely ridiculous and that services like twitch think people must have a superpower to be able read between the lines; to find the truth in a pile of BS for themselves, when nothing could be further from the truth. It’s obvious man. You do a great job and I really enjoy you content. Wishing you all them best and continued success my friend.
