Its always good to take in writing from the Embassy or Consulate so that at Immigration there are no issues. Perhaps through an email. Yes, noticed other Indian travel vloggers also facing issues at foreign Immigration centers.

100% agree that Dipanshu bro is not at fault here. Very unfair that entry was denied when a valid visa exists in the old passport. I have had 3 passports in the last 10 years, and my U.S. visa is still in the first passport. But since the tenor of the visa is valid, I am allowed entry to the U.S. without problem. Just need to carry all the 3 passports, which are stapled together.

Usually If ur passport department make hole in the old passport and u have a valid visa on that passport then there is a risk of rejecting the entry, in our country (Bangladesh) before issuing a new passport they usually ask us if we have any valid visa then passport department don’t make any whole in the old passport.
