"from a man's perspective, when someone is pregnant with your baby, should they disclose it to you?" Disclosure is not a gender issue. So, it's ignorant to even ask from a man's perspective. From all perspectives, disclosure is a moral imperative

You know am an African young lady living in America 🇺🇸 and I can’t agree enough with this man , especially as a young African lady myself that was raised by a single dad at some point of my life . I also agree that people back home really do think we live in heaven overseas, and every time I don’t stop reminding my family how some people back home are way better than us that lives aboard. And yes we don’t compare here with home , but we sure do know that we had some privileges back home that we can’t even think to have here. No place like home .

For a drop out who lived on the streets, he's really come a long way in his personal development. I love this progress. His English, his liberal thinking is better than some people with degrees out here. I love that he fought to be in his child's life and he keeps at it to give her the best. Most men particularly in our society, just give up. I am proud of you my dear.

You dont have to be educated to speak fluent english. You just need to be with people who are speaking it, and with interest, you will speak english. Enda lamu, watamu and mostly in coast. Utakuta wanaongea kitaliano ao kingereza na hawajaenda shule kamwe. Be happy of yourst speaking kiswahili and never let anyone make you feel less kwa kuwa kingereza hakitiririki kama vile kiswahili kinavyotiririka kutoka kinywani mwako. Let's be proud too for being africans and our languages.

This is so inspiring..I wish exes especially those that are coparenting could have prioritised friendship because most exes do not even allow their children dads/mums to move on with their lives (career wise/relationship wise) in the name of "baby mama/baby daddy drama". I doubt what some call drama is just drama, it is torture. Anyway, Kudos tu mr. Odhiambo!!!

Hi Lynn, I absolutely love love love your show. Your authentic natural energy always shines through. I feel blessed that I found you online. I'm from the Bahamas, far away from Kenya and Britain, on the other side of the world from Mother Africa. A 64year old English teacher and writer, always searching for real African stories and ppl who I could connect with and call my extended family. I am married to a British guy who refuses to return to the UK after he got a taste of the Caribbean. I dream of spending some time in England bc I love the language, its nuances, its history, its literature, and all the good things that Britain has to offer. As a short story writer, I am always looking for folksy stories that connect me with my ancestors, and your show is one of my fun escapes. Well, some of your interviews are real tear-jerkers though. That's fine too. Am still learning a lot. This particular interview was so cute, I just had to write you about it. Yes, you were flirting a lil bit, but it was so much fun to watch. Tymilyfe is a great and awesome guy. Keep up the good work and continue to create special memories with your daughter, my friend. She'll love you forever too!

@Samson Otieno personally if now I get a child and the dad refuses to take responsibility I can't come out to publicize myself for taking care of my child as a single mum coz in the first place I knew what I was doing and no one forced me so I totally agree with Sophia and fam
