The results was that in the best case only 3% of the money they received was actually used for what the non-profit/charity claimed to be about. I revisited a book of his I loved in my youth that is plastered all over Goodreads with accusations of "misogynistic depiction of women!" Meanwhile, I read the first chapter by the coastal liberal (publicly saying so to this day) Piers Anthony and I didn't understand how anyone could read that and not think it was one of the most feminist things they'd ever read. He makes the claim that Freaky Fred shoves a phallic looking pancake into Courage's mouth, when it did not look like that.
