Fun fact about Hasan's uncle, he denies the Armenian Genocide. To those unaware, the Armenian Genocide is referred to as "history's forgotten genocide" because to this day, the Turkish government chooses to cover up the atrocities committed by the Turkish military (back then, the Ottoman Empire. It occurred late into World War I). I believe a few of the Ottomans who took part in the atrocity went on to join the Nazi Party in the early years of the Third Reich, but ended up being assassinated by the ancestors of the Armenians who were killed just years prior

Brother I think you need to touch some grass, you've viewed their content too much and you've started to look at them as sitcom characters instead of actual people. Like iddubbz switched his content because he wanted in with the poggers community and TOS changes? that's an extremely cynical and bad faith interpretation of why he wanted to change. Things like his wife getting harassed by his audience, people being weird at cons, the story about a trans fan and so on. I can understand the reaction video thing and even the adult content section to some extent but after that the points kinda go off into personal interpretations of "dramas". CCs are responsible for their audiences because like it or not they have a sizeable pull on what their audience does, the ludwig clip of him taking down the video happened because hasan's fans started typing in his chat (something he never told them to do). The hate on the events is unwarranted since after the first streamer rewards QT made efforts to include niche-er categories and people outside the ones they knew. Also I don't get the dick riding for Sam hyde, a guy who has donated to neo nazi groups ofc you don't wanna associate with him, that's career suicide at best.

Porn has been criticized for a long time, I hopped onto the train of porn criticism sometime when I was in high school. None of this is new, they’re just angrily defending degeneracy, that’s it. Asmongold is pretty self aware about everything. I have been watching him for about 2 years now, and he is probably the most unexploitative about reaction content. He always shows the sponsors, even on videos he disagrees with, he always properly liks to the videos, he never leaves videos running while he is away, he usually doubles or tripples a videos running length with his commentary. If I remember correctly he even spoke with TheActMan to estabilish like a 7 day time perioud where he wont react to videos in order to not cannibalize on their views. As for protecting his colleagues, he never does this. At most he stays silent on a topic, but he has often criticized most of the streamers you have criticized, as well as many twitch practices you have pointed out. He has spoken out against The sheer amount of NSFW stuff on twitch and how Twitch doesn't respect their own rules. He has spoken against gambling streams, nsfw streams, simping culture, and shares many of your vewpoints on such topics. As for his House being messy, he knows, he has called himself an animal becouse of this and he doesn't care, as he is too focused on his streaming career, he has even said that he doesn't even use most of his current house, why would he buy a new one? So ultimatly, why would you care about his bad lifestyle choices? its not like he actively promotes living like that. But yeah, ultimately, geat video, this probably took a lot of research to make, and althought I feel like you have been too negative and nitpicky at times, you have also been pretty spot on on most of the Streamers.

@@MrMatt2424 Well we have an idea. Before reaction content existed, there was still content growth. Reactors don't go to the depths of KZbin to find hidden gems that aren't recommended, they're told to react to the videos by the fans who had those videos in their recommended. There is little reason to think that they are doing the content good by adding a middleman to what the algorithm already is doing. On top of that, if a reaction video does get recommended, it leaches from original content as another video would have necessarily been recommended if the original video wasn't there. While the relationship between views and recommendations isn't 1 to 1, it is a significant correlation.
@typicallatenightgamer71223 ай бұрын
nah, 7 days is actually healthy for a reaction due to how the algorithm works, since its more likely to recomment your video right after it came out instead of later, and although most of his audience doesn't convert, a good chonk of people do go to subsribe (also thanks to asmon encouraging people to "go give a like and subscribe to the original video"). TheActMan has shown his youtube statistics on a immediatel reactions and a delayed reaction, immediate reactions, especially when fanbases overlap, do kill the momentum of a video and result in less vews than average, while delayed reactions actually give videos a second wind and help them stay relevant for longer. Also, he react to smaller channels with less popular videos all the time. he recently reacted to the video a small youtube channel of a teacher posted, after that teacher got fired. And he does this very often, whenever he sees a video that would be interresting to react to.

Being presented with what I have experienced in such a beautifully compact way has not only manifested my dislike or, in the case of one or two "people", that is hate that has passed into my DNA. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you very much!

Watching Jerma cozy up to people like Ludwig and Hasan really hurt. Killed any interest I had left in him, despite following him since his TF2 days.

Including moist critical and asmongold in this is certainly a choice. Moist critical has already addressed the way he reacts to things and has modified it. Asmongold’s reaction videos will be like double the time of the original video. I feel like that is definitely modifying it. Trying to compare them to xqc is laughable.

Tbh this guy is just rage baiting all of the incels and overly political "anti political" viewers. As if any of these people would actually care otherwise. It's feigned outcry due to those they dislike being popular. To those people, cry about it, pansies. Pathetic.
@michaelh8782 ай бұрын
Modifying a video is not enough. You need to prewatch and write a script and then only use what is necessary from the original video for it to be fair use.

@@michaelh878its not enough FOR YOU. in the eyes of the law it is indeed enough. and its all that matters. stop complaining about people being rich and you think they dont deserve it or “not enough effort”. not everyone is equal. and not every effort are judged the same in this world. the sooner you accept it the better. this is how the world works ok. if you know what your customer wants, theyll give you money for it (in this case view and fame). do you REALLY THINK Asmongold or Penguinz0 (penguinz0 barely react to anything anyway these days) are just 2 random dude that just react to random video without prior preparation? they know what their audience want and thats all that matters. YOU are NOT their target and why do they have to get your (and other people’s) approval wether or not what they do is “moral”? or wether or not the money they get is “deserved”? fair use is a “defense” and not a determined thing in the face of law. theres no exact numbers or data or qualifications that you need to fulfill to claim “fair use”. if a CC like SSSniperwolf (as much as i hate to bring up this creep) can exist AND ADVERTISED by KZbin themself on twitter, then charlie and zack are way above the “fair use” line. same goes for the anime/korean drama/other tv shows reaction channels. the reason why they keep existing because they have an audience that want the content

On the topic of porn addiction, things aren't all black and white. Porn has undeniably ruined peoples' lives, that's for sure. But then at the same time, treatment for a porn addiction is vastly different from basically every single addition out there. I remember watching a Dr. K / Healthy Gamer video on this topic, but from what I remember of it, you can actually rewire your brain out of a porn dependancy much easier than say drugs or alcohol. One treatment he said he'd done in the past that worked was having it so the affected person would be given them dedicated times of the day they were allowed to crank the hog, and it ended up working wonders for them. I also know for a fact that the American Psychological Association doesn't recognize porn addiction as being a real mental condition. Just don't let any minors in your life be watching that porn stuff

Love love LOVED the video. I think the ludwig part is a little off in comparison though tbh. The fansly shit is actually unacceptable imo, but i do genuinely think he tries to remove that parasocial side as best as he can. He misses the mark obviously, but the attempts and effort is there to see. Especially when placed next to his contemporaries, he’s doing a far more active job of marking lines on parasocial relationships

Props to you for enduring this kind of content and compiling it! I tuned into a KZbin live with my girl Brittany Simon who was on a panel with that girl "Frogan". She was so insufferable I had to turn it off after 5 minutes. I don't know any of these other people aside from Hassan, but your videos are very watchable. I didn't know about the "Poggers" community nor any of this drama, but I'm loving your videos.
