i personally really like the smell of essential oils but they tend to be double or quadruple the price of fragrance oils.Also keep up the good work earthglow,you are one of the only chanels that can make really informative/entrertaining fragrance oil videos❤

I love essential oils but they must be respected. You can really hurt yourself and others with them. Researching what you use, even just for home use is important. Thanks for sharing.

Great video. I do have people that want 100% essential oils and won’t buy from me. And that’s okay. I haven’t done enough research on them and I would risk harming someone or they would put themselves at risk also not being knowledgeable. So fragrance oils it is for now

Great and very important video. This needed to be said. One should always be transparent when it comes to any product that one is selling if one doesn't want to cause any harm to their customers. People also forget that a lot of these essential oils are highly toxic to their children and pets. I wouldn't recommend using any oils around babies. Use tiny amounts around children but keep an eye out for allergies, headaches or nausea. There are only 4 esos that are safe for pets, according to veterinarians. Chamomile, Cedarwood, Frankincense & Lavender. The first question I ask a customer who is interested in my products is "Do you have any children or pets at home?" Guranteed sale every time. People love to be educated. Thanks again Allen. You are the real deal and the information in your videos just keeps getting better✌️🤘🤙

That was great information . Really enjoyed . I have a question though how what percentage of essential oil to be used with fragrance oil. In India we don't get them , we have to make our own blends even for the wax . I have used about 2 percent of E.O and 8 of F. O

Hi there! It depends on the allowable IFRA rate for your given application. If you are blending, the blend is restricted to whatever fragrance has the *lowest* allowable rate for the given IFRA category. Hope this helps!

I always mix both to include both benefits. Not all EOs work for candle use though, for ex. almost all citrus EOs don't work and the HT is horrible, but there are alternatives that after testing work really well & especially in combination with FO. One of my strongest candles have a lot of EOs mixed in. Additonally I always keep in mind the SDS and IFRA rates and as long as the final mixture combined is safe & clean. But yeah I 100% think the blending of EOs to FOs is really where you can be creative with your scents. I also do this to ensure a natural, soft true scent profile, while still being able to create a variety of niche scents with good performance.

I know this probably isn’t your expertise but maybe you could do a mineral oil and like Caster oil that’s a big one right now I don’t really understand I’m kind of new to the herbalism I have been staying with essential oils because I heard bad things No I’m trying to understand what herbs and oils are safe for the body like head to toe And also what herbs and oils have antibacterial properties
