I don't get how the T. rex in these films is sneaking up on anyone in the JW trilogy. In the first film, you could hear it's footsteps over a rainstorm and see them in rippling water.
@fornamnefternamn15322 ай бұрын
IRL I would guess they could sneak but who cares about reality...

Rexy snuck up on the characters at the end of the first movie when they were being surrounded by the raptors and highly distracted, so it's not unique to JW. I'm not tryina defend JW by any means. Those movies are horrendously bad, and more often than not, it makes no sense for the characters not to notice the T-Rex coming in thar series. I'm just saying that it's also kinda happened in the original JP too.

The mosasaurus getting bigger isn’t it growing its just a goof because in Camp Cretaceous (a canon spinoff show) the mosa attacks the main cast in season 4 and it is considerably smaller than it’s movie counterparts. Basically they didn’t bother to make its size consistent.

Do you plan to tear down the fourth movie when it comes out and is revealed to be bad. I have high-ish hopes on that movie because the same guy who directed Rogue One and Godzilla (2014), and is written by OG writer David Koepp.

Ngl, this was great. Also, I would just like to share that not only did I also start my objective film-criticism journey because I was disappointed with this movie like you did (the first video I ever saw was Mauler's "Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom: An Unbridled Rage"), but for me, it also opened my eyes to the idea of "Yes, a franchise can be ruined thanks to a greedy corporation trying to match the times. Enjoy the childhood classics.", and made me basically appreciate that as bad as this was, at least it was more tolerable than when the same thing happened for Star Wars fans when The Last Jedi released the same year. (Ngl, I feel bad for Star Wars fans, and it's why I limit my knowledge of Star Wars to everything made prior to when Disney bought Lucasfilm in 2012. But seeing how Disney ruined Star Wars and seeing that the Jurassic World Trilogy basically followed the same troubling path of production as the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy, I was worried for the Jurassic Franchise, and to this day, despite it being not as bad as what happened to Star Wars, my worries about the Jurassic Franchise being ruined thanks to poor planning and executive meddling are still true even to this day. It's why I wasn't excited for Jurassic World: Dominion, and also why I'm not even going to see Jurassic World: Rebirth.) Ngl, if you need me, I'm sticking to everything pre-Jurassic World. Plus, I was okay with JP3 even before the Jurassic World films lowered the bar, and now I appreciate JP3 despite its troubled production and the somewhat-meh final film. Edit: Also, at 26:04-26:37 did the audio cut out for anyone else? I'm not sure what happened there. (Or even what you said in that part of the video.) Edit #2: Also, yes, it was a Brachiosaurus. Not only that, but it was confirmed to be the same one that is the very first one seen in the original Jurassic Park film. People cried because it was a sad scene to see it die. Jurassic fanboys cried because they saw the same Brachiosaurus from the first film die a sad and painful death. My brother cried because the Brachiosaurus is his favorite dinosaur, and he just saw it die in the same franchise that introduced him to his favorite dinosaur. While I didn't cry at the time, I saw that scene and thought it was sad to an extent. However, after the initial theater moment, I saw the scene and still to this day see the scene and am disappointed because I see it for what it is. Because after the initial theater moment, with that scene, I saw and still to this day see my favorite childhood franchise die a painful death engulfed in flames within that scene, all while calling for help with rescue from its being-destroyed home. It was also this scene that made me question if the movie was good or not (The fact I thought it wasn't good made me worried because I was anticipating this film at the time and was surprised to see that it was bad. Now I'm glad I opened my eyes and took off my rose-tinted glasses, which helped with the nostalgia-bait scenes.) and was the precursor to the "Unbridled Rage" review from Mauler I mentioned earlier.

This is a novella I’m happy to read. Idk what happened to the audio, probably universal removing parts of it bc I played a clip with music but oh well. Ty for pointing that out about the brachiosaurus, doesn’t make the movie better but it’s still interesting (Edit) Adding onto this, I just went into the KZbin studio to fix it, I think it might have been an issue with my editing software rendering such a long video. It doesn’t matter a whole lot I was just yapping about them being on a beach and lamenting that they were double crossed

The dumbest part of the volcano plot is that those animals, especially the FLYING pteranodons, would have been aware of the geological activity and most likely activity trying to flee the island WEEKS before the volcano erupted. This movie acts like volcanos erupt suddenly and with no warning.

Always nice to listen to your stuff. Even as a long time Jurassic Park fan, and even as someone who wasn't THAT bothered by this film when it came out, I was always baffled or put off by plenty of elements. Like why would the characters willingly climb into a long out-of-order Gyrosphere that's clearly not powered in the middle of a volcanic eruption? Why would you do that? Regardless, I was at least very excited and hopeful for the prospect given to us at the end of film of dinosaurs invading our world. Only for Dominion to completely waste the idea and not be centered around it, but instead on crop-eating bugs and a sketchy facility in some isolated jungle environment (as if we haven't seen that enough times before). Gosh I hate Dominion. Can't wait to see you tear that movie to shreds.

I didn’t hate the first Jurassic World when it came out, in fact, I remember loving it when I first saw it.(Although in the years since then, I have grown more critical of it, even if I still kinda like it) I say all this because I was so ready for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. I was hyped as hell and when I first saw it I left the theater confused. The part of me that was hype for it didn’t want to admit I didn’t really like it. It was the first time I distinctly remember being disappointed by something I was excited for. The fact the dinosaurs born in a lab are going extinct and it’s treated like an emergency is so fucking stupid considering they were made in a lab, if they really wanted to save the dinosaurs… just make more!!! Don’t even get me started on the stupidity of the logic of using a FUCKING GUN to aim at a target so that a lizard will attack it… instead of just firing a gun at said target. It’s so stupid
